Lighting Control

The Lian Li L-Connect 3 Controller is required to control your Lian Li Strimer Plus V1 or V2 cables’ lighting. This hub connects to the motherboard via 5V ARGB and USB 2.0 headers, allowing you to interface with the Lian Li L-Connect 3 software. From there, amazing customisation options await with a number of pre-set effects and the option to mix and match effects on separately addressable light channels.

This controller can support a 24-pin motherboard cable and one 8-pin GPU cable, either the standard or triple. To enable the GPU cable, there is a toggle switch between the adapter headers, allowing you to select the relevant option for your set-up.

Powering the Lian Li Connect-3 Controller, it needs to be plugged into a SATA header, as close as possible to the power supply. Should you want to illuminate your gaming PC with crisp, white lighting, then do not connect other ARGB devices to the same SATA header. Plus, it is advisable to reduce the brightness by 50% for static white effects.
