When choosing the proper tubing for a water cooling system, you may pick from different sizes and colours. The large variety of colour choices is vast, allowing you to match this aspect to the internals and externals of your system without having to use a specific water colour. Tubing varies from 3/8 or 7/16” up to 1/2”. You should choose the size based on two aspects. Firstly, the look of the system and secondly the overall flow rate. Your water cooling loop will hold more water with 1/2” tubes than when using 3/8” variants. If the rest of your water cooling components are picked accordingly, you can achieve the best possible performance.
