Pumps

The cooling liquid within a water cooling setup should cycle as quickly as possible, as the convection generated by a radiator on its own is insufficient. Within the loop a pump is needed. There are various versions of pumps. We offer every type, from rotary pumps, which have the advantage of being nearly silent, while offering a long lifespan. Due to the fact, that a rotary pump is unable to suck in liquid on its own, a reservoir is needed. Our pumps may be connected directly to the internal power supply or to an external power source. It is vital that the pumps starts up as soon as the system is turned on, which some cheaper pumps are unable to do. The size of the pump needs to be chosen to match the overall length of tubing used. For setups with up to 5 meters we suggest a large pump, as the throughput needs to be adequate. To minimize any noise generated by the pump, anti-vibration kits made of soft rubber may be installed as well.
