Excellent compact PSU, has loads of connectors, smaller than my old Tagan.

I'd give it 5 if Corsair supplied it with a quality, _locking_ IEC cable, not the loose, flakey cable supplied.

It is really annoying to face mystery power lose or crashs because the IEC connector is not a secure fit.

I don't understand why locking IEC cables aren't supplied as standard for PSUs, maybe OC could supply them as an upgrade part?

This should instantly be your choice of power supply if you are not looking for high-end sli or xfire.

Perhaps not: This power supply is reliable and is capable of supplying excellent amperage on the 12v rail - certainly above what most other 650W psu's can. The fan is also very close to silent. I will be choosing this and similar Corsiar power supplies for all my builds for some time to come.

This PSU is truely brilliant, it runs very cool, is quiet, gives out solid dependable power, and the cables come ready sleeved!

Pity it's not modular, but at that price, who's complaining. :P

Got this two days ago, bit slow on the delivery (an extra day) but am super pleased with this, my first PSU upgrade :)

I'd heard great things about Corsair and from the moment you get the box they're obviously true; after opening the awesome looking box it's held in two anti static pads and get this: a drawstring bag xD

It installed sweetly, it's super quiet, the cables are lengthy, quality and easy to plug everything into... This was also my first upgrade on my case, so the whole thing went perfectly! Thanks OCUK and Corsair PSUs = 10/10

Had about 4 PSUs over the years including enermax and hiper. I was surprised at how quiet this PSU compared to my previous ones, no humming or vibrations and it stays very cool after being on 24/7. Even had a few power cuts in the first few weeks I got it and I had no problems!

It has the build quality of top of the range PSUs at an amazing price too.

This is the 3rd Corsair psu I've bought for the 5th pc I've built. Now I never look anywhere else. It provides endless stable juice, is very quiet and very well built so should last for a long time.
Certainly worth that little bit extra.

Bought this based on a recommendation by a friend and wow!. Plenty of juice for what i need, im still amazed at how quiet and cool it runs (im running core2duo e7400 2.8ghz, 4gb ram, twin harddrives, twin dvd drives, powerhungry graphics card and 4 fans) and it doesnt even batter an eye, its still blowing cool air out!

Really neatly presented unit all round, from the packaging to the cables. All cables are covered with nylon woven sheath to protect them and shrink tubing ends, keeps clutter to a minimum. Cables are nice and long and provide plenty of connectivity.

At first I was skeptical about spending £94 on a PSU but i can see why its worth it now, its not worth risking your gear with cheap and inferior quality PSU's, been there done that.

You will certainly not be disappointed if you want an efficient an quality 650w power supply. Next day delivery with overclockers was a saviour too.

This being the first PSU i have actually bought and installed myself i was expecting the same mass of cables that my stock PSU is.
How wrong was I all the cable bundles are sheathed and shrinkwrapped for a very nice clean look. Cables were very long and had no problem with installation and the noise is whisper quiet.
Fantastic card highly recommended also OFC great super fast service got it next day even though i ordered at 17:15.

Very silent, awesome power and looks very slick. The cables are as have been said, quite long so fitting un used cables in a 'smaller' case can crowd the components slightly.

Other than that I really can't fault his PSU at all!

No bells and whistles on this PSU but it does its job and quietly. Note although the cables are long I found fitting in a large case (Antec 1200) to be problematic as a few of the cables only just reached.

Awesome PSU, rock solid rails and can output pretty much the full 650w on the +12v (which is a single rail, superior to multiple smaller ones).
Comes VERY well packaged - mine looked like the Sh1ttyLink peeps had played football with it - box had a huge dent in it but the unit itself was barely damaged (works fine, but if I had a case where the PSU slides in it wouldn't have fitted due to being slightly out of shape now)

Bought this has part of a new, self-built system with an Arctic Cooler 7 on a q6600 and you can not hear this PSU. Brilliant. Powers an 8800GT to boot!

Noob confession: been over 5 years since I built my last PC and when i turned this one for the firs time I was getting one long continous beep. I'm not sure what it was but I hadn't connected to connectors, one to the GFX card which didn't look like it needed one as it had no MOLEX connector and the other was on the MOBO, a new "eatx" (i think) connex. Both look the same though one is lablled PCI-e on the cables which is helpful (6 pins) and the other is a 4 pin.

Only thought you had to connect the long 20 pin connector lol.

This thing saved me...

There was a power cut and everything went off...My PC then wouldnt switch on and i started shitting myself. After a few minutes it worked fine, apprently this psu has a built in timer setting to save your components. Brilliant, just buy it, it may save your life one day :P. Also it came in a nice box, with a sticker and a bag :D. It looks cool as it is Jet black and is solid as a rock, six stars=)

One of the things I forgot to include when working out the cost of the new machine was ................ the PSU.
This one was on offer and the right wattage so I took the risk.
Well worth the money.
in addition to the usual stuff it had -
8 sata plugs on two cables long enough to hang myself with.
8 molex plugs on two cables finished off with floppy plugs.
2 PCI plugs
So there's enough for the hard drives and the DVDs, and plenty if I get round to scavenging the dead 'pooters we have that will 'come in handy for spares, honest love' - the wife has an obsession with putting stuff in the bin when it dies.............. go figure?
The little bag came in handy as a 'look it came with something usefull' pressie for herself.
FIVE stars for quality and presentation. Get one if only for the bag for your 'herself'.

I bought this PSU to replace a pretty old PSU and i was amazed at how good this PSU. It has every connection youll ever need all built in and plenty of them! I even came in its own little corsair bag =D
