Decent CaseI bought this case for a mid-range gaming PC build. I found it painless to set up - the tool-free drive fitting and case screws are great, it is well made and looks decent, the drive bay covers are a nice touch too.
Overall I am really pleased with it.

Stylish Little CaseI bought this to fit a cramped PC desk as space is at a premium. Overall, the finish is very good, with no sharp edges.
Hard drive rails work well but feel a little flimsy. Case fans are very quiet. Good connectivity up front with two USB ports, E-sata and a couple of jack points. Asthetically, this is a pleasing case to look at.
Tool less drive fitting works well, nicely securing drives in place.
On the down side, I had to install the (3) HDD's connection side in as there is very little room for cables to exit without fouling the case side.
It is probably best for m-ATX systems with single or dual HDD.
The power on button has a nice spun ali effect centre which needed gluing in and the front audio lead was too short to reach my rear mounted header.
In summary, nice to look at and work with, but probably not suited for multi drive or gaming rigs. 4 out of 5.

Excellent ValueBought this for my first build and it has exceeded expectations for the price.
I wanted something that looked professional/commercial rather than home built and this case fitted nicely into my plans.
I particularly like the flaps over the optical drives which I have to say, work extremely well and the front is very easy to remove with just a gentle pull in the right way. The fans supplied are surprisingly quiet and the general feel is very good including the simple but effective fitting of HDD and optical drives. There were no difficult threaded holes for the mobo standoffs and it aligned perfectly.
It's not a huge case and may not suit those who go in for high end gaming with water-cooled systems etc but, for those who are looking for a value for money, good looking medium sized case, with plenty of expansion space for normal use, you can't really go wrong with the Akasa Raptor. I'm very happy with my purchase.5 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes
