“YAYI bought this psu from another online store so i cannot rate the delivery from OCUK, However the instant i powered up my rig with this in it after having a nasty cheap psu that blew up i saw a difference in quality straight away. A definate great buy and seriously recomend if you are building a nice mid range gaming rig of your own, specs i use this with are:
CPU: Intel Core i7 (socket LGA1366)
Mobo: ASUS P6T
RAM: 6GB Corsair Vaule ram
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Vortex 752
GPU: ATI/AMD Radeon HD 5770
Hope this helps anybody decide as i find it useful to compare specs if they are close to my own :)
THANKYOU OCZ!!!21/11/2012“
“Somewhat DissapointedAfter buying this GPU to satisfy an additional GPU (another 6870 to go along with my previous one), I found out that this power supply is seriously lacking in connections. There's one 6pin one 8pin pci-e power, which means that it will only connect to one medium end GPU (the 6870 is a very commonly x-fired card).
I don't feel that the "multi gpu ready" selling point is correct here at all.
To make matters worse there is no legacy FDD power (small 4pin) so I have had to order another converter for that too, just to get my sound card (Asus Xonar DX) to work.
The unit looks and feels good quality and I'm sure it'll last a long time, it's quiet and good value for money, but I can't help but feel that if you're advertising a multi-gpu ready power supply it should at least be able to power two modern average cards out of the box.
Oh, and if that isn't enough I've had to go elsewhere for the converters as OCUK seems to not stock them. Pretty peeved.28/11/2012“

great product at a fair pricei would definitely reccomend this product as it performs at the same level as some of the more expensive models, and has all the connections you'd expect from a higher priced psu
the only downside is the cables inside are a bit too long so tend to clutter up the inside of the computer
other than that great value and fast delivery9 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

1 minor niggleworks like a dream with plenty extra expansion capacity cable wise.
HOWEVER... I have a power connector to add a second SATA HDD, but no data cable. To be honest, I expect plug and play when it comes to this, not "buy, try to install, oh crap no data cable, back to shop to buy data cable, return to install"!
other than that, works fine and can handle all that I can throw at it!8 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

Excellent PSUBought this to replace my old enermax galaxy 850W. Ordered 2pm, and it arrived by 1pm the following day, excellent service by OCuk.
The powersupply runs very quiet, the cables are average length, comes with 8pin cpu and 2x6pin pci-e cables. The unit is small and should fit it any type of case.
It's powering a i5-2500k, HD 6950 2gig, 4gigs ram, 1 HDD, 1DVDRW and 1 sounccard.
No problems, reccomend this to anyone on a budget. Plus it comes with a 3 year warranty with ocz!
Always use a power supply calculator to work out what wattage you need first though.!7 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

Fantastic Bought over a year ago and it still works perfectly.
I bought this after a few cheap brands exploded on me. This is such an improvement.
The fan in incredibly quiet and it has never skipped a beat even when left with my system at full load for days at a time
Would recommend this highly7 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

OCZ are quality.I don't know why but every time I do a new build OCZ PSU's are always going to be included. I know this one is not modular but who cares, a good tower and building skills can hide the excess cables. Would reccomend this PSU7 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

Does its jobNo real pros towards this and no cons either. Runs nicely and silent (at least, I can't hear it). No problems what so ever powering a i5 3570K and a HD 7850 graphic card.7 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

excellent but many cables!awesome psu, cannot hear it at all comes with every cable you need
its a bit of a squeeze trying to tuck all the cables away but this thing has been very reliable.
also @blackwatch this is a powesupply and as such provides power not data. your motherboard comes with data cables and so should the hdd unless you went oem, either way a psu doesnt provide data cables7 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes
