  Great!Its a basic fast dvd/cd drive thats not to noisy. I got this one over the sony optaric because I know lite-on do very good drives, although it loses a star because of the weak disk tray but its fine so long as you dont sit on it or something...9 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review?   Excellent driveFast and pretty quiet to boot.
  
  I flashed the firmware on mine to make it the iHAS 524. So I get the extra features for free from the base model writer ;)
