  excellentthis drive is excellent and installed assassins creed first time with zero feature transfer errors which my last drive was incapable of installing.
  the drive is fast and very quiet and the sata cable is much smaller than the old ide cables used with my previous drive which cuts down on clutter inside the case and improves air flow.
  delivery time was spot on again thankyou overclockers
  
  If you are having trouble installing assassins creed pc game and keep getting read error on installation the disc is not currupt it is you dvd rom at fault. Buy this drive its a bargain4 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

  The no brainerThis drive is the new immediate choice, no need to shop around. It's very quick, spin up time is good, it's almost silent (for a dvd drive) and no problems at all. For 16 quid you'd have to be barking not to.

  Matches the case and fastHad no problems fitting this in and using it as a main drive - previous drive had to be replaced as it was starting to fail but this one is quiet and works very well too.

  Nice and quiet but not without it's faulI bought this drive to finish off my new build and my dad has 2 of the same drives. I just happened to be unlucky.
  
  This drive runs really quiet almost silently, which is a bonus if you are looking to run a quiet system.
  
  The reason I only gave this 4 stars is because my drive had an unknown to me at the time fault.
  
  This particular drive has a known but rare fault where it won't recognise Windows 7 discs (Every other type of disc reads perfectly).
  
  My dad and I tried 6 different copies of Windows with the same end result. Tried my dads identical drive and it installed Windows first time, no issues.
  
  I think I was just unlucky, but hopefully my replacement will have no such issues. A quick RMA request and it was on it's way back to OcUK.
  
  Fast and faultless service from them as usual!!
