  Not ideal for Mac Book AirBought this DVD drive hoping it would be a cheap alternative to the mac super drive for my mac book air which is over twice the price. Unfortunately this DVD drive connects using 2 usb inputs off one cable (imagine a Y shaped cable) and since the mac book air has one usb outlet on one side and one usb outlet on the other side of its body the cable doesn't stretch around so that it can plug into both at the same time. Now i have to buy a usb extension cable to be able to use this for my mac.
  
  So keep this in mind if your looking to buy this and your laptop/pc doesnt have 2 free usb outlets beside each other.
  
  Other than the problem of the usb cable this DVD drive is a very nice stylish product and works well.5 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes
