Handy deviceExcellent little card reader that is straightforward to use and stops me wasting the battery on my camera.
The cable to connect it to the motherboard is quite short and not ideal in a full tower case however.

Happy Birthday, guaranteedThis was my birthday present from my mum. She wanted to get me a shirt, but I have enough nasty shirts, thank you very much. I can now upload my photos onto the internet. Yay.
PS, excellent product. Looks good in my Chenbro Gaming Bomb II.

Does the jobFits and co-ordinates really well with my Akasa Raptor case. Excellent value for money.

I've only tried it with Compact Flash cards and while it works fine, it perhaps doesn't feel the most secure when the card is inserted when compared to other card readers I've used but, like I say, it does the job so I really can't complain, especially for the price.

    One thing to note!
Insert the CF card "upside down"...this is also true of the USB port...only a minor issue and the Akasa reader is far more practical than an external card reader on a trailing lead!
For the price and features, even with it's minor shortcomings, I have got to give it 5 stars!151 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes

BargainSo nice to be able to push a card straight into the machine without any hassle.

Wish it did XD cards as well, I still have a camera that uses them. Extra USB port welcomed, but a real bonus would have been a firewire socket, but for 7 you can't have everything.150 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes

Much needed upgrade!Upgraded to this to replace an older card reader..FINALLY I can read cards 4 gig+ Also the micro SD card comes in very handy. (which is another new feature to me). No problem installing itself on win7 64. Only slight gripe is it's a little narrower than the older one so slight gap in bay. Anyway..for this price shoulda bought it ages ago.149 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes

Works greatExcellent card reader for the price, works perfectly although it has a couple of quirks that don't affect it's functionality. The USB port on the front is upside down in relation to the other ports on the front of my case, and the microSD and SDHC slots appear to be electrically connected so you can't use both of them simultaneously. I suspect the same is true for the M2 and MS Pro slots as you only get 4 new drive letters, but I haven't tested. Overall it's a great replacement for a floppy drive and didn't need any rearrangement of the pins in the USB lead to connect it to my motherboard (Asus).145 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review?
