High qualityGreat overall steering wheel. Got V4 my self, so nothing to grumble about. Wicked overclockers delivery as usual17/11/2012

Great wheel At least 10 times better than my G25 and nixim modded pedals FFB is very fluid though cooling fan is a noisy but if it makes it last longer I can live with it. The only thing that annoys me is the set I was sent are V3's Thrustmaster is now up to V5. Springs were changed in V4 and above to compression springs as the old torsion ones have a habit of snapping. Score lost 2 stars because of the V3 issue.10/11/2012

Best 330 bucks iv spent in a long whileI had no issue's with versions, as I had V5 i believe both wheel and peddals.
My friend has a G27 and the T500 makes the G27 look like a kiddies toy. pick up a Th8RS stick and your laughing, maybe not all the way to the bank as both will hit you for 420 plus.
When i got the wheel, i said if every smile the wheel bring id bank a quid. id have enough for 3 T500's buy now.
I noticed a fault after 3 weeks with the mode button, it stopped lighting up but continued to work as its function.
I contacted Thrustmaster and customer service was great..
No need to big up overclockers as you all know they're awesome.

Go buy one and get on Iracing/Rfactor and let the smiles start flying322 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes

one say with the T500RSexcellent, makes my life a lot easier compared to controller. easy for throttle control, braking and smoother steering.

    - construction is very good, metals and plastics are solid. the wheel been on all day and not even that warm, so cooling must be pretty good. if you turn the sound off you can hear the fan(s), but i don't even notice it when playing

    - ease of use - well it's just plug and play. i did remap a couple of the buttons to suit me better (ie windshield wipers etc...) i wish i could remap clutch pedal to be reverse, using the triangle button is far from ideal, either that or downshift from 1st to R

    - clamp - very good, stable and doesn't move. i don't think i need to bother drilling holes in the gamepod.

    - pedals - very happy and using the inverted set up. i tried the brake mod at first, but thought it was too heavy/stiff for my liking - am happy with the default brake feeling - that said i could be swayed by a perfect pedal type mod, as long as price is not r311 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? awesomeReplaced my g27 with this wheel as i could not stand the clattering noise , well paying 400 for a wheel u would expect it to be top notch and i wasnt disappointed . comparing to the g27 it kinda make its feel like a toy. only downfall ive had atm is the double shifting with the left paddle. over all id give it a 5 although expensive i think its worth the money.194 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Excellent qualityThis replaced an ancient MS wheel which I'd used on and off for the past 18 years. Well technology has come a long way since then and while a bit expensive I feel its worth every penny. The pedals can physically be flipped to work as either GT (pivot downwards from backplane) or F1 (pivot backwards from base), see the pictures above to see what I mean, the GT is the one with the black plate. The pedal plates can be moved sideways to allow a small amount of spacing adjustment and finally the brake pedal can be modded to change the feel of resistance.
The wheel itself is solid with large metal paddles making changing gears in corners a breeze and includes a good selection of buttons which can be set to cover most if not all of your in-game needs

    Pros:
    Solid construction
    No dead zone
    Pedals can be modded
solid clamp (removable) and has screw holes for mounting on a driving chair rig

    cons:
Yes, it does cost a fair bit (but worth it IMHO)
fan is quiet loud (but forgotten while playing)

Overall adds a greater sense of immersion and I am now off to order the TH8RS shifter which should complement it nicely90 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes
