  Excellent, it Works!!I have had a lot of trouble getting a budget capture card that..
  
  1, works on my old computer.
  
  2, works with my old camcorders.
  
  3, works with a fairly modern video editing suite.
  
  I am delighted to say that this card fits the bill totally. I have a couple of USP capture devices but they won't work with my Serif Movie Plus x3. Fine with the bundled software but not with mine.
  
  The Card comes with the very respectable Ulead editing software but I did not need it. Also, the capture quality is excellent.
  
  The only slight downside is it does not come with a composite video cable or an s-video cable but this is a minor point. It has a full set of audio cables, complete with a stereo cable between the capture card and the sound card line in socket.
  
  I would reccomend this card to all, like me, who are on a tight budget.7 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

  Great value no hassle analogue captureNeeded to transfer some old Video8 8mm tape recordings to digital format to keep safe and transfer to DVD.
  
  At this price point all I wanted was decent capturing. It has S-Video and Composite which is all you need for such old hat analogue connections and the Audio pass-through to soundcard Line-In works without fiddling at all.
  
  Installed on Windows 7 64-Bit without complaint and the latest available driver on the CompPro website installed perfectly also.
  
  I had some horrible artifacting, almost interference like lines on my image. Turns out this is a result of capturing in RGB16/24/32 and can be entirely cleaned up by ensuring you use YUV2 (The card supports it).
  
  The bundled software is a nice little value add however I will use VirtualDub for my capturing. I prefer to have full control over compression and filters. The Ulead stuff does not seem to allow you to use YUV2 either which is somewhat of a show stopper for capture due to the 'Line Noise' issue.7 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes
