  Great valueBought two of these for a new home built PC. First time I have used Western Digital. Build quality seems better than Maxtor/Seagate that I am used too and after several weeks use I am pleased with the speed and have had no problems at all.

  Does the Job perfectlyWith not much diversity to be found amongst HDD's, most customers are only looking for 3 things (with the exception of size, as that is really just personal preference):
  
  - Quiet
  - Fast
  - Reliable
  
  I can safely say this achieves all 3 factors comfortably leaving no room to complain.
  
  On top of that, the value of this product is fantastic, this is more than likely due to the release and improving technology of SSD's, meaning an investment in a HDD is more or less perfect timing for value.
  
  I have this hooked up alongside a 640GB 11 series Barracuda and my read/write speeds for this drive beat the Barracuda by a reasonable margin as expected. I also run Windows on a 120GB OCZ Vertex II SSD, this understandably is no comparison in terms of speeds, but no one would expect that of a HDD anyway - they are different products.
  
  All in all, a fantastic product at a great price, and for this price it is definitely the one to go for (especially against the fairly unreliable Barracuda).
