Make sure it fits!!It's obviously an amazing product, but cant use it with the maximus v extreme, as it sits over the main gpu pci slot so i guess i will have to use the standard intel one untill i can find one that fits, lol18/01/2013

Outstanding!Bought this to replace my Arctic Freezer Pro 13 as temps were hitting easily 65deg's when running Prime95 @ 4ghz for 15-20 mins.
Despite having to remove the heat-spreader on my memory, once installed temps @ 4.4ghz hit 42deg under load. Massive Improvement.
Beware, this is a massive cooler and will require you to have low profile RAM in order to install. Fans are silent and if you choose, you can run the cooler passively, with the fans attached. The motherboard should allow you to set the CPU fan control to Auto, the fans will no start unless you put the CPU underload, or if temps start getting high.
Superb Service as always & loving the Haribo :D
Thanks again Overclockers!!!

Great product.Just installed one of these, I picked it up as a "B" graded item for £30, absolute bargain. It knocked close on 30ºc off my i5 2500k, whilst on 100% load, on a 10 pass cycle on intel burn test, at highest setting.
Not sure about the low profile memory comment below, installed easily in my gigabyte Z68XP-UD3 rev.1.0 board, using 2x4GB of Corsair XMS3 DDR3 PC3-12800C9, which as far as I know isn't low profile.309 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes

Mostly brilliantGot this cooler over others mainly because i loved the name!

Brilliant cooler, though it is rather large so you need a big case. Its heavy, well made, a quality product, quiet and lowered my temps by 15-20!

Only negative is the instructions which were vague and not particularly helpful. The pictures were tiny and really difficult to figure out aswell managed to get it installed thanks to a friends help and a fair amount of trial and error and foul language!.

Other than installation issues, absolutely the bomb though!248 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes

Cooler than Ice Cool!Well after stress testing my PC with my old Thermalright 92mm reaching up to 90 degrees on a A10 5800k black edition OC'd to 4.4 GHz I thought best to purchase a new Heat sink, I was a tad worried that this would not fit but it fit's perfectly in my new Cooler Master Cosmos SE case. Fair enough if I need to change the RAM at some point I'll have to remove the whole heat sink but on a good note I did not have to buy Low profile RAM it has left me with about 3-4 mm space.

Anyhow after installing it without taking my motherboard out, which I should have done because it was a bit awkward I'd finally fitted it after 20 minutes. Now idle my CPU runs at about 18 and on Prime95 stress test it runs between 55-65 degrees, well below the 74 degrees working temp that these CPU's allow.

After that test of 30 mins it ran stable I OC'd the CPU to 4.5 then 4.6 GHz and well it still runs nice and cool :) with no issues!

All in all a fantastic buy fast delivery and yet another bag of Haribo to enjoy whilst putting it together!55 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes

Awesome Cooler!I was a bit skeptical when ordering as it was so cheap on price but the results so far have been amazing a great pickup.

The only thing I would suggest is making sure you have enough real estate in the case as it is a large component. Personally I have the bitfenix colossus case and it sits a beauty looking in from the window :-)52 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes

Tricky beast!I got this with an overclocked gaming motherboard bundle, a 3.4 i5 @ 4.2 and I've yet to see a temperature above 40 (although I've not properly stressed it yet but the OC test results with it logged an absolute maximum of 71).

The name is accurate though, it's HUGE! Need to make sure your case can take a 160mm tall cooler. I didn't have any trouble fitting it over my RAM (TeamGroup Elite Black) but they don't have dedicated coolers which I'd imagine would cause an issue. It also comes very close to my graphics card but that's with the 120mm fan on the graphics card side, I will likely swap it over to the other side where it makes more sense.

As mentioned by another reviewer assembly is a little tricky, the instructions are small and a bit unclear but reading the parts list which explicitly says which are for AMD sockets and which for Intel narrows it down enough to piece it together. Fitting the fans isn't covered at all but they are held in place with two wire clips which can be figured out from the picture! Whilst on topic of the fans they're very nice! Extremely quiet and mounted in rubber not plastic so fitting them is easier and they don't rattle at all.47 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes
