Perfect for meInstalled my drives using this today, before that one was sitting in the bottom of my 3.5" bays and the other at the bottom of my 5.25" bays which wasnt ideal, they were just resting there and not held in.
I was suprised by the weight of this, its a good solid item and isnt going to easily be bent or damaged. I had no problems fitting the 2 drives in (OCZ Vertex drives) and found the rails that hold the top drive in place quite helpful.
Would happily buy one again if I needed to for another system. A much nicer solution compared to some of the other adapters

Nothing SpecialSolid Aluminium construction feels nice and the quality is good especially for this price. This holds by C300 64GB in my Antec 600 really well.
The only problem I have is the thermal mat is you can't slide a drive into the bottom bay without removing the thermal mat, because it's rubber (or whatever its made from) won't low you to slide a drive over the top of it.

Fits perfectlyBought one of these and it fits my case (Antec300) perfectly, screw holes aligned and Intell ssd slid into position easily and secured with the provided screws on the underside, the white pad is a thermal pad, not an adhesive to stick the drive to.10 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Well made item but..Does not have the right size or pre-drilled mounting holes for an Antec 902 case fitting system.

Big shame as it looks very good inside. If you want to use this make sure you ahave the drill ready.10 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

Not great in Antec 900The build quality is great and it takes any SSD or 2.5 HDD without any problems hence the 4 stars.

    BUT!!

I bought this based on another review on this page for my Antec 900 case. I imagine he used the extra single floppy drive bay that fits in a 5.15" bay for the mounting to fit in his, as the screw holes do not line up in the HDD casings on the case. Even if they did the extended length screws have the wrong pitched thread to be used on this casing. It requires the same screws that are used on DVD drives not 3.5" HDDs

I've managed to fit it upside down and using the screw included but its not an ideal solution.9 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

GOOD FOR SOMEIF using only 1 drive with my Akasa Eclipse 62 it's excellent, however as other people have said it's too tight to slide a SSD drive over the sticky pad. I bought 2 of these and will use 1 drive in each. When using this with any of my SATA drives (non ssd) the space above the sticky pad is fine. The reason for this is my old sata & IDE drives have screws so the edges are thinner so the screws don't catch or protrude when used in a caddy or latop. BUild quality is excellent.9 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

Not compatible with all casesGiving this a middle ground rating, as it did not fit in any of the 3.5" drive bays in my Antec P182. This is due to screw hole positioning, and also being a little too narrow for the screws to hold it. If you need to mount an SSD in one of these cases, then look to something like the Scythe Twin Mounter 2.5 Rev.B, 2.5 to 3.5inch Adapter.9 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

OKnice looking, good build quality but beware, the tight fit will scratch your £500 ssd's top surface, the pad will slip out of position as you slide the drive in, the unit is too long to fit in standard cases and the screw holes do no line up, if your prepared to drill holes etc its fine otherwise steer clear.8 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Well made butIt's a nice bit of extruded aluminium but I have two issues with it.

    1. The lower drive slot is a slide in fit and has a thermal interface pad below it, my SSD is too thick to slide in with the pad in place without gouging the case against the two rails that position the upper drive. These rails are unnecessary and only serve to line up the drive while you tighten the screws.

    2. The screws for the 3.5" bay are fine thread, unlike a standard HDD, not a problem if you use the included screws and install into a conventional 3.5" bay. If you have a Lian-Li case with a mounting system that uses screw in studs with a coarse thread (i.e. normal HDD threads) that slide into a rail mount this won't work. It might be possible to force the screws in and let them cut new threads but I don't like it.7 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

Check your case firstMy Intel and Samsung SSD's fit perfectly, with no issues, so I can't fault the product. The trouble is the kit won't attach to my Silverstone TJ06 case, so it's now resting on top of my DVD drive, which is a drag

Maybe I need a 5.25" to 3.25" mounting kit to mount this one...7 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes
