“The most comfortable keyboard everThe build quality in this keyboard is fantastic, I bought it to replace an ageing MS Natural Elite and this is so much more comfortable.
The wrist rest is fantastic, squishy and comfy to rest your hands on, and with the stand lifting the front edge it becomes an ergonomic dream.
Multimedia keys are a little sparce I guess but the software lets you configure them to your heart's content.
The only minor flaw I can think of is that the space bar requires a fair bit of force to press, but I won't lower my score for that because it's rather subjective.09/08/2009“
“Great layout, poor build qualityThis keyboard has the best ergonomic layout of any I've used, but the build quality is a step down from my old Microsoft Natural Keyboard Elite. The spacebar feels flimsy and doesn't always press smoothly. All the extended buttons except for the zoom controller work correctly in Linux. This keyboard works correctly with 500Hz polling on Linux using a hacked linux/drivers/hid/usbhid/hid-core.c , but latency may not be as good as a dedicated gaming keyboard (haven't tested it). Rollover is standard 3 key.31/10/2009“

Carful Nowbought one of these a long time ago from Amazon and found it to be absolutely fantastic. Having had an ergonomic keyboard before hand I was instantly used to it however...
I spilt an absolutely dribble of water on the keyboard by accident, we're talking less than a cm of water left in a glass.
Within an hour more than half the keyboard was non-responsive and another hour later it was completely broken.
I'd recommend, but do not spill anything on it or it'll break instantly.6 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

Great though doesnt like waterBy far the most comfortable keyboard to use - perfectly spaced keys nice action.
As others have said though - get it wet at your peril - I'm on my 3rd one now as it seems the slightest spillage kills keys sensitivity completely. Hopefully MS will revise this and improve its durability as I believe its the only split keyboard currently on the market.6 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

GreatThis k boards great for gaming if u play a lot of fps.I was getting rsi from my other k-boards ,i bought 5 others before this..pains in knuckles etc. so gave this a go, Cured my probs and now those 6 hour sessions are longer a pain.
Takes about a week or so to get used to but after that you will never want another k board !
Zoom function in the middle is usefull for those web pages that use micro text as u can zoom the text up in size.I thought the palm rest would have been rubbish cos i dont usually like em but its soft n comfy and after a while u dont notice it at all.
Oh and the F Lock stays permanently on or off whichever u leave it as, some others reset it when u restart pc.5 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

Amazing KeyboardI wnet from a saitek eclipse to this and i have to say the difference is amazing. The keyboard takes a while to get used to becuase of the shape of it but it has improved my typing and gaming by alot. Worth buying it no matter what keyboard you have.5 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

still going wellMine i still going well after 2 years and a few thousand hours usage, despite me spilling coffee on it etc.The coffee made 1 key become a little unresponsive (sticky sugar?) so i opened it up and cleaned it.I then popped it in the dishwasher and was prepared to buy another one if it failed. It came out like new and after a day in the airing cupboard i plugged it in and it is still going strong. That was 3 months ago.Cant recomend this keyboard enough.I think maybe you were unlucky alec or should have dried it out 1st.
Oh ive just bought another one for another pc i have cos the wife has been wanting to use this one all the time.5 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

Very NiceGot one of these to go with my new all-black setup. The colours make it look great sitting next to my black Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical!
Only (minor) issue I had with this was that I had to use the IntelliType software to reassign keys for switching music tracks, because it doesn't come with any shortcut keys for that. It only has a PLAY/PAUSE button readily assigned. Overall a very good piece of kit though!5 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

Takes a while to get used to but then...When I bought this i felt put out initially, the curve and angles meant i had to adjust to it somewhat, but then my typing speed/accuracy took off, and it is comfortable over looong periods. It will handle the WASD rigours of FPS gaming too, but i daresay there are better 'gaming' keyboards if you need oodles of macros, glowing keys and an LCD.
All the keys can come off easily for cleaning too, a well built keyboard.5 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

Really good... untilI loved this keyboard.
It took me about a day to get used to, then I could type much faster and felt much more comfortable with the rest. I tend to type at around 95+ WPM and using this keyboard did not slow me down at all. I found that often after typing a lot my wrists ached less than before.
This keyboard only lasted a few months though. I mean.. I read the reviews below first about it not being good for spillages, and I shrugged them off as anyone would thinking.. I'll just not spill a drink on it. I spilt the smallest drop of wine on the keyboard, a really tiny drop. Now my calculator opens up (the media key I guess) when I type, the 'p' button types "pb", and the apostraphe types square brackets "]".
I didn't think it would happen, and I really loved this keyboard, but now I think I have to find something a little more robust.4 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes
