Good valueI bought this when building my new gaming computer. I had been going to get 4x2GB, but I decided to spend some more so that later I could add more cards without having to remove any. On the whole, they are running quickly and well. A great buy for the forward-thinking individual.198 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes

Fantastic ProductBought these 5 months ago, saw them on offer and decided to submit my review again. These sticks are fantastic, they install fine due to their neat heatsinks (note if you have a large heatsink such as the Titan Fenrir, these work wonderfully with the restricted space).

Been running at 1600Mhz at 8-8-8-24 for 6 months straight and they've stayed at ambient throughout moderate operations. Under load they work fine, getting no hotter than 60C and they are only slowed down by the i5 750 attached to it, so that's a statement of their great performance.

For the price of 80 (at time of review, going to be cheaper now); there is no memory purchase better than this for a Dual Channel setup such as an i5 series.198 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes

    Solid and futureproof.Crosshair IV Formula
    Phenom II 955BE @ 3.8
    ATI 4870 1GB

I got these for their low profile heatsink due to my Thermaltake Frio overhanging the first DIMM slot, and at first they didn't impress me at all. I generally thought that the 8GB was a waste of money and I made a bad choice - but I was wrong.

After a few days I really began to notice how awesome these sticks are. The speed increase from 1333 to 1600Mhz is unnoticeable, but the sheer amount of memory is by far noticeable.

My programmes load almost instantly, those that require a lot of ram run so smooth I cant begin to explain the difference compared to 4GB. Large video and CAD comps are noticeably smoother to work with and Photoshop CS5 is just sweet with 8GB. Best of all iTunes can cache all of my 32'000 tracks album art and still have RAM leftover!

Anything that requires a lot of RAM is going to benefit from these sticks, the price is by far justifiable and I am so glad I choose 8GB over 4GB.

My advice, go for it!191 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes

Decent memory.Top quality memory, from a top quality manufacturer.

Though if wanting to run at the rated value, you will need to enable the XMP profile in the BIOS. And be aware that the voltage it them sets is 1.65v! Which is towards the top end of what SB motherboards are supposed to support. Though it "should" be capable of running at around 1.5v.188 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes

Very goodIf building a good gaming computer, these are a must! the value for money is very good and they work like a charm for gaming and loading programs!

If you have a big heatsink (like my thermaltake frio) these sticks are low-profile so there's no worry about there being a squeeze for space!

5/5, does the job at a top quality level!186 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes

RamaliciousI upgraded from an Athlon X2 4800+ with 1GB RAM to a Phenom II X4 955 with 8GB of this stuff, and it flies. Looks smart enough and fits under my enourmous Titan Fenrir Evo. I see it's now on offer for silly money, 69.59 as I write) so may treat myself to another 8GB! For the price, why not?181 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes

AWESOME MEMORYWell awesome for 45.98 that is. Fast and I paid 65 for mine not so long ago. Don't bother with 4GB go for 8GB, you know you will only be upgrading later on. :)

Running Win 7 64-Bit on a core i5 with a Asus P8P67 motherboard and had no problems.

There is faster memory available but it costs a lot more.175 User found this Review usefullHelpful Review? Yes
