Excellent!Just got this card today, it's the OEM version so you save yourself a few quid over the retail boxed version. Just plug it into any available PCI slot and your good to go. I'm really pleased with the sound quality particularly using headphones, gaming is much improved and so is watching HD movies. The Xonar Audio Center software offers lots presets & EQ so you can tweak away to your heart's content. Don't forget to uninstall any existing audio drivers and disable onboard audio in your BIOS if your using it. You will have problems installing the Xonar drivers until you do this. Overall this is a great soundcard for the money and a big improvement over any onboard audio.20/12/2010

Spot on!Bought this card to stick in my new PC at the same time I ordered the Roccat Kave 5.1 real surround sound gaming headset and I can say that after a few minor tweaks to the EQ in the ASUS Xonar control panel the sound is amazing! anyone thinking of purchasing the product should do so!7 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Im shockedCant believe how much difference this little card makes (over onboard 7.1HDaudio that is) and at a mere 20gbp its a big steal.
If youre buying anything from oc.uk, just add this sound card - you wont regret it. Lets just say im really surprised.7 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

Inexpensive, but far from cheap. This little card has really surprised me. My X-Fi XtremeGamer died recently, so I bought one of these as a stop-gap.
It turned out to be, at the very least, equal to the first gen X-Fi's. Creative's CMSS (virtual surround sound) seems vastly superior to my ears than Asus' virtual 3D, but the DG's overall sound quality is phenomenally higher than the price tag would imply.
It's clearer than the X-Fi XtremeGamer for sure.

Not the best sound card on the market, but almost certainly the best value for money. If you're considering a sound card but aren't really sure you need / can afford one: you can't go wrong with this card.
Just be careful to download the latest drivers if you use Win7!

I'd give it 4 stars for it's overall quality (relative to the X-Fi Titanium or the higher end Xonar boards), but and easy 5 stars for it's spectacular value for money.6 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

Excellent valueI moved to this from my trusty Audigy 2 as it was having mic issues under windows 7 and I can't fault the DG at all.

Better sound quality than my previous card, no issues (using brainbit drivers) and the headphone amp is an excellent feature.

You won't find a better card for the money.6 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes
