“Great headsetI have not had the headset for long and already I am enjoying it. I'm in love.
First of all, dispute many negative reviews this headset, for me, is very comfortable. I can't use it for more than a couple of hours, but I rarely want to use it for more than a hour and a half.
The sound quality is good and is an improvement over my old Microsoft headset (Microsoft lifechat 3000). The bass is very low however so if that's your sort of thing AVOID THIS HEADSET. The actual sound is very clear and is very pleasant when listening to music or playing through a game such as Team Fortress 2. I was not that impressed with the sounds from Battlefield.
The only thing I hate about this headset is the massive cable. It's SO long and is very easy to get in a large tangle.
Would I recommend to a friend? Yes.
Would I buy again? Certainly. Worth every penny.15/01/2013“

Really good.I have owned many head sets over the years, cheap and nasty asda own headset, saitek GH20, Ozone attack, Roccat Kave and now the Vengeance, The last 3 listed are the best. Out of the 3 this is the best.
I have big ears so the ear cups are really good. The mic boom at the perfect length. I have a 5.1 sound card and have used the Roccat and this on the same card, Both sound as crisp as the other. However this is a lot better for hours of gaming, the ear cups, and head piece sit at the right place.
Well worth the cash and as usual ordered on the Wednesday came on the Friday at 10am.

corsair is great that allCan I just writhe here to say a big thank you to the professional technical support , and to the service that corsair does. I knew I was right to buy all from corsair the reason is , my headphone where not working , after a year , the cord got loose maybe from the use, and the sound was coming and going,and I have been send the new pair which is also the latest model of the hs1a. Well thank you very much, after a year not only replaced but a new model too? it is a pleasure for me to have business with you. i can also say that this headphone are great, if you want to hear only the explosion when you play then get stronger bass, but if you want to hear everything else too this are the one4 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Great headphonesAfter owning these headphones for about a week and a half, I have to say these are the best headphones I have ever had, the bass is nice and the audio is very clear.
The only gripe I have are that the volume control wheel is loose.

Sound ProblemThis headset was absolutely amazing until it broke. I have had it for less than 6 months, and there is a problem with the wiring going into the volume controls, causing the sound to completely stop until I readjust the wire.
