Near perfectChose to go for these over the Razer Chimaera 5.1 headset. Previously I was using a Creative Fatality HS-1000 for games and a Sennheiser HD465 for music - this headset has now replaced both.
Audio quality is crisp and clear both in games and in music, offering an excellent level of fidelity in the latter. Although the 7.1 surround is simulated, it is still of very high quality and at this price point justifiable.
The Corsair software does not come supplied and must be downloaded separately (~25MB) and allows you to tweak the EQ, load and save different sound profiles for various uses (music, FPS games, MMO games etc). The software is unobtrusive and is not resource intensive - always a positive.
Battery life is very good thus far and should quite comfortably last at least eight hours of on-and-off usage. It would be nice to have some kind of battery indicator though, either on the headset itself or in the software.

My first cordless headsetJust received my headset, again first class delivery, came next day. Was really worried about interferance as i have a cordless keyboard/mouse/gamepad and wifi all over the house, but must say im so impressed. No pairing up, just turned on pc, plugged in the dongle and away it went. I can honestly say that im hearing noises in Quake, TDU2, San Andreas and Battlefield 3 that i have never heard before. The volume on these beasts is amazing and turning them up loud just deafens you whilst still sounding crisp and clear. Im not sound expert, not into hifi stuff or nothing like that, but i can defo hear the difference. The most ive ever paid for a headset is £40 so this was a big leap of faith for me, and boy or boy and so pleased with the results. Hell, i can even walk downstairs and it still sounds good. WOW !well, where do i start? i had the Sennheiser PC 350s and came home drunk and sat on them broke them! so i bought the roccat kaves! they broke themselves mic failed! so i bought these! well i can be more happier at first i was ok with them then i downloaded the drivers of there site well what a difference that made ! AMAZING !
the sound is Great ! the wireless function is great! my first set of wireless and i love it! i go make a coffee wilst in teamspeek and still talk away to team mates !
if your reading this then your half intrested! dont wait any longer wacvk it on credit card if you cant afford it like i did YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Great HeadsetI love my new headset the 7.1 is amazing and the over all quality is great.

5 if it weren't for this one issue..Won these from OCUK.
I would give them 5 but they hiss for 5 seconds every time audio stops.
The hiss is not apparent during normal listening, nor when you're not listening to anything. It is only there for 5 seconds after audio stops.

Very good indeedAmazing sound quality. hearing slight notes and tones in songs iv never heard before.
