Excellent Gaming Headset!I power these via Creative X-Fi Titanium HD, and they produce powerful and detailed sound for games with great positional audio, great with movies, music etc, and the microphone is of very high quality. Also the design is very similar to Senn HD5** series headsets; so comfort wise these are well suited to wearing for hours on end.
The reviewer below is correct in saying you can't really use these Senn PC360 without amp; as the sound quality drops considerably more than my Senn HD595's when powered through just my laptop, and yet both produce sound of equal quality via amp...

Xonar or audiophile grade sound card reqDO NOT buy these unless you have a serious sound card with a built in amp. ASUS xonar or other audiophile grade sound card required. Not suitable for xi- fi series or any onboard solution. The headphone drivers are the same 50 Ohm units used in the new sennheiser 558. Not standard 32 Ohm units. Be warned that being said they are without a shadow of a doubt the best you can by in headsets. I tried them on a xi fi and onboard the difference is night and day. Entry leval for these would be a xonar d1 sound card anything less and your wasting your money. comfort is similar to the hd series from sennheiser the ear pads are velour same as the hd 598 and the 595 from sennheiser. Extremly comfortable with the headset sitting on your skull and zero pressure on your ears and open design allows for extremely long gaming session with no loss of comfort even when wearing glasses. volume is jog dial on the headset right earcup and mic is state of the art noise cancelling with lift to mute!

Qualitywhere quality counts in build and sound this are without doubt the best gaming headset you can buy, really strong mic boom, very comfortable, handy vol control built into the cable and the earcups fold flat for easy storage.

sound wise theres plenty of bass and treble you will hear sounds not usually heard through inferior quality headsets.14 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

StunningWas skeptical to say the least. Broke my old Roccat Kaves by trying to fix all the cablewinding you seem to get with them (the strain relief is not good imo on the headphone side). So i purchased these. Straight out of the box the clarity is 50% better than that of the Kaves which is i thought was good as is. Much lighter and the spacial awareness is even better than the true 5.1 Kaves. I am running them in atm but even so there damm good.

I am running them off a Xonar soundcard though, like many have said you need a decent card to pair them with, i.e not onboard.

There also very light and comfortable, the only downside is there a little pricey but you get what you pay for and these are simply Stunning.14 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

Professional"Gaming headset" is somewhat of a misnomer with regards to the 360 - it's essentially a redesigned pair of HD595s with a microphone attached. The quality is, as you would expect with this pricetag, pretty much unparalleled. Having tested this against two other headsets (Creative Fatal1ty Mk II and Razer Megalodon) I can say that this is undoubtably a cut above even the Megalodon.

I have seen other reviews which criticised this headset for a lack of bass, but as far as I can tell this is untrue. Inherent in the open design of the headphones is a lack of low-end reverberation as sound waves are allowed to escape, so if you're used to the sound of closed headphones, this may take some getting used to. What is lost however, is the 'murkiness' of the low-end caused by this reverberation, and not any of the bass itself - what's left is a much more accurate reproduction of the original sound with less distortion.

As mentioned, a good soundcard is essential - I use an ASUS Xonar DS 7.114 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes

WowStrangely, like the guy below I was duped into buying the 5.1 Roccat Kaves. They broke after a couple of weeks (a speaker in the left earcup went and the mic LED went). They also sounded too boxy and generally not pleasant, especially with films & music (OK for solely games I suppose).

I returned them and went for these, and god they're amazing. The clarity of the sounds they produce is second to none for this price.

They're open back which allows the drivers to breathe, keeps your ears cool and when paired with dolby headphone it sounds like movies/games are coming from a surround system at the corners of your room (had to take them off to check my surround wasn't on in the living room when I was watching a bluray!).

The cups are large and cover your whole ear, and the velour pads are very comfortable, even when they're on your head for hours.

Also, the mic is crystal clear as I've been told by gaming friends, which is what you would expect from Sennheiser.

You need these!13 User found this Review usefullhelpful Review? Yes
