It features Acer’s flicker-less, low-dimming and ComfyView technologies that reduce strain on the eyes for smooth and comfortable extensive viewing.

The Acer XB270HA is intended to be paired with enthusiast PCs for immersive, ultra high-end gaming. It features a spacious 27-inch LED backlit display with True HD (1920 x 1080 pixels).

With a GeForce® GTX™-powered PC, NVIDIA® G-SYNC™ display technology synchronizes the display’s refresh rates to the GPU to eliminate screen tearing and minimize display stutter and input lag to deliver smoother, faster, more breathtaking gaming experiences. Scenes appear instantly, objects look sharper and more vibrant, and gameplay is more fluid and responsive providing gamers with significant performance advantages.

The Acer XB270HA features 170/160 degree viewing angles so that brilliantly-colored images can be seen from almost every angle. The Acer XB280HA monitor is made with post-consumer recycled plastic and features a distinctive red ring on the base stand. The multi-functional ErgoStand allows the screen to tilt from -5° to 35° to ensure the best viewing angle; the base rotates 120° from left or right for easy screen sharing; the panel height can be raised by up to 150 mm for optimum comfort; and the screen pivots from horizontal to vertical for more viewing perspectives.

This eco-friendly monitor features a mercury- and arsenic-free panel, LED backlighting for reduced power consumption, and is ENERGY STAR®(1) qualified.

- Flicker-less technology – stable power supply eliminates screen flicker particularly beneficial for heavy users by helping to reduce eye strain.

I was disappointed by the sharpness

Overall the display was okay, colors were acceptable, had just a little amount of bleed from one corner.
Viewing angles were pretty disappointing for me, even for a TN panel, but it is pretty easy to adjust, whenever you change your position.

Most importantly, and the reason why I returned the monitor was that small text was very blurry, coming from 1080p 23.3". I heard very little complains about 1080p@27", most said it was fine.
But to me, it bothered me a lot, my eyes just hurt when reading small text. I used it for about 5 days, had plenty of time to get used to, but I just couldn't, even my 5.5" smartphone has higher resolution :'D

Absolutely Beautiful

This monitor was an upgrade from my old 24" Samsung TV which supported a whopping 60hz at a resolution of 1080i which wasn't ideal. This monitor definitely takes some getting used to for the first couple of days I found myself feeling kinda jumpy in games and I can only put this down to playing on 60hz for almost 2years that I simply couldn't grasp how much information was being thrown at me. G-SYNC is absolutely amazing playing games such as CSGO and DOTA2 where I'd usually notice a lot of screen tearing there was non, non at all which is so great to see having no input lag along with this is even better especially when playing CSGO where half a second can mean everything. I've seen a lot of reviews on this monitor else where with people moaning about the 'washed out colors' and the fact they can 'see every pixel' but really unless you're coming from a true color ips panel the colors will be absolutely fine red is red and blue is blue there's nothing wrong with the colors i!
n my opinion. Seeing every pixel isn't an issue either when you're playing games you don't have time to faff about looking at the pixels so it really isn't an issue if anything it makes the games look crisp and sharp which I like. There is a slight bit of backlight bleed on the left of my monitor but again you don't notice it in game only when the monitor is displaying black. I'm very very happy with this monitor and if you're looking for a 144hz G-SYNC monitor that's affordable then this should be your goto choice!

Great monitor for 1080p gaming

Hi xD.
I have this monitor for about a week and so far i am very happy with it.
I bought this because i plan to play in 1080p and this monitor has everything i wanted for gaming: G-sync, 144hz, 27'' and 1ms response time. The only thing i would possibly want beside this specs would be 4k but as i said, i plan to play for now in this resolution(1080p). For the guys that do want to play in 4k, they can either use DSR or get the acer model with the same specs but 4k.
The only thing that ACER could have done better was to add at least one HDMI port. I have a console and would be happy to have that option but it's not a big deal for me at the moment as i have more tv's/monitors at home.
I come from 60hz monitors so this 144hz makes some difference and G-sync just makes everything perfect and smooth.
I bought this monitor because of the specs for 1080p and had a nice deal on "this week only offer".
Would recommend this to any gamer pretending to play "not 4k" (or native 1440p) lol xD

G-Sync is amazing but colours washed out

Good monitor, gsync is an amazing feature and one i cant live without, fixes odd game stuttering and many other things but the only downfall of this monitor is it doesnt look nearly as good as my BenQ 2720t in terms of colours, image sharpness and viewing quality, some colours are flat so you miss out on amazing details no matter the tweaking and a lack of inbuilt sharpness feature in the Acer makes this a pickup if you need gsync but not for nicer colours. (keep in mind the BenQ is the same size, 1920x1080 on 27" and isnt nearly as blurry)

Take from that what you will, i swap between this and my BenQ when going from game to game, gsync doesnt fix stutters in games that vsync would normally fix so keep that in mind.

Great monitor when set up properly.

Got this as a present to myself for Xmas and got to say I was disappointed coming from my old Dell ips as the colours seemed so far off out of the box, but a few days of googling and changing settings (BlurBusters Forum best) I have to say I cannot now tell much difference when sat straight on, obviously being TN the viewing angles are poor but who plays games sat at an angle.., 144hz G Sync is amazing and a massive difference in BF4 wouldn't go back to a 60hz monitor now. 1080p x 27" isn't as bad as some would make you think and obviously easier for my 970 to hit 144 fps on ultra in most games. Also with DSR 1440p works well in some games too. Great service as ever from overclockers.

Bloody Fantastic

I have upgraded to this from a old 32'' Samsung tele with a max res of 1360x768. but this thing is phenomenal... hands down the best upgrade i have ever bought for my PC :) And G-SYNC really is something else, what an amazing experience. the only thing id say that isn't top notch is the color but what do you expect from a TN panel, i bought this for games not high end color work and video editing. I would 100% recommend this monitor to anyone for games, movies and general everyday use, and thanks to OCUK for the awesome service as usual :)
