Acer are taking the gaming market by force with their latest range of gaming monitors with incredible styling and performance.

Pixel power
Gaming monitors used to sacrifice colour for speed, but now there’s no need to compromise with a range of gorgeous and powerful displays. IPS[1] technology provides rich colour and you can even overclock to 165Hz[2] of gaming glory. Once you try it, you won’t go back.

Get the smoothest gaming experience on the planet with NVIDIA® G-SYNC™. G-SYNC™ eliminates screen tearing and minimises stuttering by syncing the refresh rate of your monitor with the frames rendered by your GPU. This is legendary PC gaming.

Seize control
Take charge of any situation with Predator GameView. Adjust dark boost levels, make precise colour adjustments and set up aim points for hip-fire accuracy. Save custom settings in three profiles you can switch between at any time.

Tired of that ugly motion blur when you drift around corners? Get a superb racing experience with NVIDIA® ULMB[2] (Ultra Low Motion Blur) technology for crystal clear gameplay at high frame rates.

All the colours
Good colour brings game worlds to life and lets you pick out enemies with precision. We managed to get the XB1 series up to 100% sRGB[2]. Now that’s some accurate colour!

Get comfortable
Predator EyeProtect’s Flicker-less, Blue-light Filter, ComfyView and Low-dimming technologies minimise eye-strain from long gaming sessions.

One for fun, two for multi-tasking, three for an ultimate gaming experience. Enjoy immersive multiple-monitor setups with ZeroFrame bezels that keep you in the game.

Fantastic monitor, a bit pricey but fully worth it

Made the jump from a Dell S2716DG, another 1440p G-Sync display, but a TN panel. I was really enjoying my Dell until I happened to cause water damage to it. Many months after feeling sorry for myself with multiple dead pixels I finally decided to break the bank and go all out on an IPS display, and let me tell you it's the best decision I've made. Like many others the back light bleed or dead pixel gamble when it comes to IPS displays definitely was a concern, but I'm proud to announce there is zero back light bleed and no dead pixels and boy is this an upgrade!
Out of the box the colours are pretty poor, after a couple hours of tweaking and comparing with my old TN panel it's like night and day. Never could I go back to a TN panel again, it feels like I've upgraded to 1440p for the first time again. Games like Subnautica and Ori and the Blind Forest really do excel massively over my TN panel.
My only gripe with this thing is the OSD, it's not fluid at all and is a pain to work. Another thing worth mentioning is the stand, the stand itself is pretty solid, but the monitor is quite a bit more wobbly that my Dell. I gave it a 9/10 since the DP cable was faulty, nothing to do with the monitor.

Overall a great purchase if you are looking for one of the best 1440p IPS displays.

bang on!

No dead pixels and virtually no backlight bleed. If the rest of OCUK's current stock are the same you're safe!
Was very skeptical about spending such a frankly insane amount of money on a monitor but having spent a few days with it I'm very glad I did.
I have a fairly mediocre spec setup (1060GTX 6gb) and so far everything looks and runs amazingly well. Gsync really is incredible and the display quality on the IPS screen is noticeable better than my old 1080p TN monitor.
Crazy money but a VERY good display.

A bit Blurry

I wanted to make the move to 1440p and IPS as was very disappointed in my last TN panel with blur reduction for the colours were washed out and very grey.

All the reviews I read stated that 4ms would be fine and "you can't notice the difference". Well the first time I loaded DOOM it was so blurry I had to spend the next hour trying to setup the monitor. Ended up only using ULMB mode @ 120Hz and even then its not as good as my old BenQ panel. So right now I have paid the premium for 165Hz G-sync and have to use 120Hz ULMB for it to be usable. This is all personal preference of course.
For RPG and slower games the monitor is lovely and looks amazing. But if you are gonna play some faster paced shooters I would stay clear of the IPS version of this panel.

G-sync: I don't get it, cant tell the difference with it on or off tbh. I don't seem to experience screen tearing.

165Hz: you have to overclock to achieve this, my monitor would't do it, just shat its pants when I tried. And the overdrive function just makes things more blurry (ghosting).

So all in all. RPG gamer; go for it.
FPS gamer; buy something else

Oh and for what its worth I haven't experienced any dead pixels or bleed.

Pricey, but worth it

I made the move from 1080p TN panel and would now never go back. This monitor is stunning, one of the thinnest bezels I've ever seen, virtually no back light bleed and the g-sync has completely eradicated all of the micro stuttering I often found with my 970 SLI setup. Great build quality and I honestly cant tell any difference between the 1ms TN and the 4ms response time trade off with this IPS panel. 10/10

Simply Stunning!!

This is my 5th IPS panel. I had 3 x Asus PG279Q ROG affairs which just had shocking IPS Glow & back light bleed. I went to another supplier for an Acer PREDATOR X34 & that also went back for the same disgraces.
A major pain all round having experienced IPS with G-Sync @ 2540 x 1440 & 3440 x 1440. No way can you go back to a TN panel afterwards.
When I bought this one, my attitude was to suffer the yellow/orange glow caused by IPS Technology, but this one has absolutely NONE! Maybe a tiny tiny amount of BLB but it really is more than acceptable.
I will be sending a picture of mine in the dark, to the guys in support. This is simply gorgeous!

Thanks Again Guys. :o)
