Overall this does the job, I've got it on a 2500k (stock speed). Temps - mid 30's idle and mid 60's when gaming so can't complain for the price. However, it's noisy when under pressure, the loudest fan on my PC. The push pins are very annoying as Bart pointed out, once fitted it works well. If you can afford to go a bit higher I would recommend something else, if your looking for a cheap improvement on a stock cooler this is good.
Using this on my i7 and although the pushpins are annoying it works just fine.
Bought this as a cheap replacement to a Zalman CNS9xxx flower series that I had on a 775 Q6600. I wanted to move that cooler to my new 1155 i7 rig and needed a cooler to replace it with. So bought this. Just the job !! :)Very well made with metal fins and very quiet fan - cannot hear it. Highly recommended.
