The revsion 2 version of the NexXxos raditors have had some small changes due to how good the revision one was and improvements can only be minimumal. The slight design change has been made to the screw holes to allow any screws to get as flat as possible to avoid the screws been shown on your build.
Uncompromising
As usual Alphacool uses pure copper for the NexXxoS V.2 radiators. The prechambers, the water channels and the cooling fins are made of copper and are a worldwide unique selling point. No other manufacturer uses pure copper for all these components. This makes Alphacool radiators one of the most popular and best on the market for many years, providing the perfect foundation for any water cooling system.
Full cooling performance
To maximize the performance of a radiator, Alphacool goes deep into the bag of tricks. The first step is copper. With a thermal conductivity of 400 W / (mK) for copper compared to 236 W / (mK) for aluminum, the winner is clear. In addition comes the special Fin density. Alphacool is one of the oldest water cooling companies and has performed countless laboratory tests. The result is a fin spacing of 15 FPI. As a result, the air flow is relatively slightly obstructed, since the air can pass through even without high pressure. To optimally use the air flow, all cooling fins have small flaps. These are tiny wings that direct the flow of air in the desired direction. In the case of the radiators these are barely 1 mm high,
New generation of locking
All NexXxoS V.2 radiators use the new patented locking screws from Alphacool. Anyone who has a radiator mounted to the front or in the ceiling of a housing, knows the fact that protruding screw plug ensure that the radiator can not be placed flush. With the new patented locking screws Alphacool offers an excellent solution. They are completely recessed in the radiator and flush with its surface. As a result, nothing stands in the way of a clean installation. Of course, the radiators with the new locking screws also look much nobler.
Connection
All variants of the NexXxoS V.2 XT45 radiators have two connection options for IN and OUT on one side. On the opposite side, the NexXxoS V.2 XT45 radiators now also have a fill or vent port. Of course, this connection can also be used to empty the water cycle.
Safety first
The NexXxoS V.2, like the previous NexXxoS radiators, has a special protection that prevents you from screwing in fan or mounting screws too deeply. Protective plates were placed under all mounting holes to prevent the screws from being screwed in too deeply. This protects the underlying cooling fins and water channels.
