Antec true Power 650w

I have owned one of these for 2Yrs+, and though not bought from OCUK i can highly recommend. I have never heard any noise from the PSU fan or otherwise, totally stable 12v lines, totally stable all over, runs cool. Good selection of extra cables which means you have more than you need. Buy one they are superb !!

Best Buy

Had one of these running a gaming rig (i5 2500K @ 4.5GHz/HD6950 Crossfire) for 3 months - totally faultless piece of kit and really reliable and well made, highly recommend,

I bought one of these to build a new system, core i5 and 6970 gpu, so nothing too high power.. nothing it shouldnt be able to handle

the system became unstable after 12 hours of use.. it would just cut out even when not under load, that made me think it was a fault with another part...

long story short i wasted a lot of time getting to the root of the issue, and the way the psu randomly cuts out leads me to believe it might be of poor quality

i wouldnt buy another thats for sure

High Pitch Whine

I have purchased two of these in last 3 weeks and they both have a high pitch whine, the second one whined at a slightly lower pitch. Clearly audible with head near to PC and just audible over the other side of a quite room.
The whine is only noticeable when the PC is shut down and remains indefinitely unless it is switched off from the plug socket. In fact the PSUs have the whine even when disconnected from the PC completely, thus eliminating any other component. The whine may disappear when the PC is actually on but it is hard to be sure due to noise of other components.
This might be a bad batch or maybe this is just the manufactures acceptable design spec so it would be handy if anyone else who has purchased one could review their experience. The part numbers on mine are very similar (TP100820169068, TP100820169279). I have two other PCs and both have very cheap PSUs and they are completely silent with the PC shut down

Happy Customer

After recently loosing a psu over something trivial I was left hunting for something to replace it with. The guys on the ocuk forums recommended this psu and I am not dissapointed, its great! The cables are a pita in a small case (I have a lian-li pc65) but some effort with cable management will sort that no problem. Also this psu has more connectors then you will ever need which is great for future upgrades.

Oh and it has a 5year warranty which was the icing on the cake :D

Good solid psu

Just recieved mine and its is a nice solid looking unit. Its a hybrid unit so comes with the motherboard power, pcie and sata cables hardwired with modular cables available for additional sata/pcie etc. This ensures the essentials are hard wired with scope to upgrade should you need to. Helping with cable management and air flow.

PSU is nice and quiet. Comes in basic packaging with no fancu cloth bags. Believe this came out top in a recent custom pc magazine review.

All the rveiews I've read have bene very positive. Very happy with this.

Stable and Quiet!

I bought this PSU after reading the Custom PC PSU group article, where the TruePower came out on top for stabilty and efficiency testing.

The PSU is made by Seasonic but branded by Antec, its very quiet and stable and I can't fault it.
It also comes with loads of different cables and connectors so I know its future proofed.

I would not hesitate recommending this PSU to anyone.

Simply the best

Got this to replace a dying 5 yearold PSU and its simply AWESOME!! It is completely audible, and very efficient. Power at load dropped from 250w to 180W!! thats wayyy more efficient than my old psu, Highly recommended!!!
