"Arctic Accelero Mono Plus VGA Cooler"

The Accelero Mono PLUS is equipped with a universal mounting mechanism, offers full support to a broad range of graphic cards. A 120 mm PWM fan and five heatpipes provide an ultimate cooling performance and a virtually silent environment at all times.
The Accelero Mono PLUS operates at a maximum cooling capacity of 200 Watts. It is equipped with a 120 mm PWM fan and five heatpipes that dissipate a large amount of heat instantly. It ensures that the VGA graphic card can run under optimal temperature for an extended service life.
Operated by a low noise impeller enclosed in a patented fan holder to reduce the buzzing sound when the fan is spinning, the Accelero Mono PLUS is barely audible even running at full load. To enable minimum noise level at all circumstances, the PWM controller enables the fan to run at the optimal speed according to the load generated by the GPU.

WOW better than asus direct CU

I have an original ASUS direct Cu 560 Ti and it was a hot one when running EVGA OC scanner at stock speeds/voltages it would very quickly get to 80C plus in every test, It did try replacig the TIM with AS5 which knocked off a couple of degrees at most ... Now With the Mono plus (standard Arctic TIM) it never exceeds 60C in any test at stock speeds/voltages ... and never above 65C even with a over volt and OC on GPU and RAM.

Solid performance

installed on a MSI gtx 460 1GB after the stock fan started to create too much noise after 2 years of usage, after installing this solid heatsink tempers dropped from 90 c to 60 under full load, was able to overclock the card to 900mhz at 1.212V which yielded a healthy performance boast of around 15%. The photos do no justice to its size. it extends to the mesh side door on a in win dragon slayer with a couple of mm to spare. very happy with this aftermarket cooling solution

Nice and quiet

I got this because the stock fan on my MSI GeForce 460 was starting to sound like a helicopter taking off. It looks HUGE in the picture but its actually quite small. Sticks out about and inch and a half from the side.

One caveat, if you have a side fan on your case it might end up touching the side of the cooler fan. I'm using an Akasa Apache on my side fan and the Apache is one of the "thicker" fans, the case closes...just.

The instructions are a bit hap hazard with stupid pictures everywhere but after 5 minutes or so its easy to figure out. Whole thing is designed around spacer's which offset the copper plate from the GPU to give it its right fit. Certain Radeon (ATI/AMD) cards need to use added bracket thingys but it looks easy enough to install.

It is super silent. With the case closed i couldnt even hear it. The 2 part epoxy thermal resin which you have to mix to glue on the little heatsinks for your memory chips is useless...5 HOURS to set? pffffffft...

Quiet, effective

I was surprised at how small this unit was, and when attached to my xfx 6870 it is only a few mm higher than the original cooler, so the whole assembly only covers two slots (although it very very nearly edges onto the 3rd slot).

Fitting was straightforward with one caveat - the (non-permanent) thermal adhesive for the RAM heatsinks takes 5 hours to 'set'. I've no idea why, as it ends up as a sticky paste rather than a hard glue anyway. You may be better off buying a normal thermal glue if you don't feel like waiting 5 hours.

The fan goes straight to a power connector, with a choice of two speeds (7v or 12v).

At the lower speed my card never exceeds 68 degC on furmark at base clocks, and the fan is silent once the case is back on.
