H370 Pro4 Intel H370 (Socket 1151) DDR4 ATX Motherboard
Featuring a Sapphire Black PCB, the ASRock H370 Pro4 has a distinctly dark aesthetic. Its striking appearance is complemented by a strong technical foundation. The board uses an H370 chipset so it can support Intel's 8th generation Coffee Lake processors.
The ASRock H370 Pro4 can truly be at the heart of a graphically dynamic system with support for AMD's CrossFireX technology which enables to you install and link multiple graphics cards to enhance performance.
For gamers looking for additional visual intensity, the ASRock H370 Pro4 offers HEVC 10-bit playback which gives improved video quality thanks to higher bit depth.
The Features of ASRock H370 Pro4 at a Glance
- 2× PCIe (3.0) x16 (x16/x4) & 3× PCIe x1
- 1× USB 3.1 Type A & Type C
- Total of 6× USB 3.0 and 5× USB 2.0 (internal & external)
- 2× M.2 (PCIe 3.0 x4) / 6× SATA 6G
- Supports max. 64 GB DDR4-RAM at 2.666 MHz
- 10 phase power delivery for stable operation
The ASRock H370 Pro4 ATX motherboard uses the cutting edge Z370 chipset, making it is compatible with Intel's 8000-series Core processors (Coffee Lake). Graphic performance can be further enhanced by linking multiple GPUs with AMD's CrossFireX technologies.
The ASRock H370 Pro4 has numerous technical innovations, enhancements and an array of storage solutions. There are two PCIe x16 slots, one of which uses a full 16 lanes to connect to the chipset, as well as three further PCIe x1 slots. It has two M.2 slots capable of running ultra fast NVMe-M.2 SSDs, resulting in a data transfer rate of nearly 4 GB/s. This makes M.2 PCIe SSDs up to eight times faster than SATA 6G SSDs. There are also six SATA 6G connectors for 3,5"- or 2,5" hard drives and -SSDs (incl. RAID support). Up to 64GB of RAM can be added across four DIMM slots.
The board offers excellent options for connecting external peripherals. With a convenient rear I/O panel, the motherboard includes a USB 3.1 Type C port. USB 3.1 ports are capable of achieving up to twice the speed of USB 3.0 ports. However, if you still want to link up old peripherals, the board features six additional USB 3.0 ports. The ASRock H370 Pro4 is even Thunderbolt ready.
Power stability is outstanding. The ASRock H370 Pro4 has a 10 Power Phase Design and implements POOL (Planes On Outer Layers) Technology. POOL utilises stripline instead of micro-strip routing, meaning that electricity is distributed more evenly across the motherboard, which leads to enhanced performance.
Network connections can be made via two Gigabit LAN ports and wi-fi connections by two wireless antennae connectors.
An HDMI or DisplayPort 1.2 output video while a Realtek ALC1220 connection allows for excellent sound output in either 7.1 surround sound or DTS Connect.
