Product information: GeForce GTX 1060 Turbo 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

The GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card is loaded with innovative new gaming technologies that make it the perfect choice for the latest high-definition games. Powered by NVIDIA Pascal™, the most advanced GPU architecture ever created. The GeForce GTX 1060 delivers amazing, class-leading performance that opens the door to virtual reality and beyond.

The GeForce GTX 1060 just like 1070 and 1080 supports SMP, this gives the 1060 twice the VR performance of a GTX 970 in supporting titles, making the 1060 ideal for Virtual Reality and headsets such as HTC Vive and Oculus Rift taking gaming to a whole new dimension.

GeForce GTX 1060 is the upgrade many have being waiting for who are on older ATX power supplies with only 6-pin PCI-E connectors, due to the ultra low 120W TDP of the 1060 means you no longer need to upgrade your power supply to accomodate this hugely powerful GPU and as low as a 350W power supply is absolutely fine. So upgrade today and get a massive performance boost along with all the latest and innovative gaming technologies such as DirectX 12.

For this price you hardly get better

First of all, it costs ~ 240 pounds. I took one for 280 eur today and let me tell you, it was worth it. There is no single point to waste money on bling bling aftermarket coolers because in the end all becomes on performance. Talking about performance, i got 58 fps average on Dirt Rally on 770 dcuII, got now ( without overclock ) 98 average but i tried to overclock this thing a bit - 2126mhz core clock and WHOOPING 9700MHZ memory clock. This thing's bandwith rocketed from 192.2 to 233!! And msi afterburner showed that GPU-s power usage isnt even 100%, 87 was max i could reach.

With smaller overclock, i tried before, 2000 on core and 4500/9000 on memory i got 10 fps increase average on GTA 5, sometimes less sometimes more - depends of scene. So basically you could get about 15fps gain on GTA 5 and this thing wasnt even throttling. Core clock remained for 15 minutes and gpu temp was 64, but ok.. i used custom fan speed as well.

And here comes the downside, first: no backplate, but.. for that money who cares at all.
Second:

FAN NOISE. In 70% this thing get a biiit loud, and at 100% its like my girlfriend is drying her hair, basically. Maybe for some people it isnt so bad, for example R9 290/X users, but i came from pretty silent 770 DCUII and it seems loud.
No more downsides at the moment, hardly will find any.

And War thunder at 4k, DSR but still..41fps average, everything maxed. :)

So, if you are not living with parents who would rip your heart if your machine is making noise - GO FOR IT! especially if u are on budget

IF you are living with them, obv i would not recomment it since on demanding games they will visit your room..

Peace!

Very Good Card

I got extremely lucky to pick one of these up before they went out of stock.
The fan is silent while idle and noise is minimal when under load. The thermals are impressive, even with my terrible airflow.

If you see one of these in stock, don't hesitate. It really is a stellar card.

Perfect For 1080p

Superb delivery service from OCUK, ordered Saturday delivered Sunday.

Quality gpu for 1080p, BF4 ultra never drops below 125 fps.

I wanted a blower cooler as I have a sff case and wanted the hot air to be blown out. This thing under load never goes above 65 deg C and the blower fan noise is very very good compared to my old GTX 470.

So if you game at 1080 and want the air out of your case this is the card for you. Buy one you know you want to!
