Product information: GeForce GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

ASUS is proud to introduce the new ASUS ENGTX560 Ti DCII to all our users. Using the unique ASUS DirectCU II Cooler the airflow is doubled and the noise level is greatly reduced by using flattened copper heat pipes which directly contact the GPU core to speed up heat dissipation for a 20%* cooler performance compared to reference. Keeping the card temperatures low also results in quieter operations thanks to reduced fan speeds!

The card also boasts Super Alloy Power which can create a 15% performance increase, 2.5 longer product life span and a 35?C cooler operation. In addition to this, the engine clock runs at a Pre Overclocked 830MHz, allowing users to enjoy high speed and an unprecedented gaming experience. Super Alloy Power is a special blend of elements formed using an ASUS exclusive formula, under extreme pressure and temperatures. The metals are highly-magnetic, heat-resistant and anti-corrosive used to reduce power loss, enhance durability and achieve cooler operation.

Super Hybrid Engine is an intelligent power consumption optimizer that switches between high- and low-intensity power profiles in real-time. This in turn can provide up to 15% improved performance. Furthermore the GTX560 offers a SAP CAP; this is back-to-back with the GPU to provide most efficient power supply for increased stable overclocking of up to 28%.

With exclusive Voltage Tweak technology also being a key feature of this product, the ENGTX560 Ti DCII/2DI/1GD5 covers users for every possible over-clocking and over-volting scenario. With the complete package offered by this card users can easily boost their performance by up to 50%!

Best card for this money

This is a quality product. Credit to Asus, the card and its sizable cooler look and feel very well made, and it comes nicely packaged in an expensive feeling box.

Power cables are provided, although be warned it does require 4(!) 12-volt connectors to supply it with juice.

The performance is unbeatable at this price.

The 6950s may have a slight edge, but they are all significantly more expensive.

1GB memory is plenty, unless you play at super-high resolutions above 1080p.

Also it will easily overclock to and beyond the level of the pricier pre-overclocked cards, if you wish, but in truth the performance to be gained is marginal.

In summary, this is the best card you can buy for under

Brilliant card

For me this card runs all of the games I play flawlessly on maximum settings.

This includes World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, Total War series, Tropico 3, Eve, Bad Company 2, and many more.

I haven't got BF3 yet but I'm sure it will run that perfectly as well.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high performance card on a budget.

Working well

Very impressive so far. Using one atm no overclock and its able to run everything im playing at full settings without any noticable slow down. It seems well built and has run quiet and cool. Anyone looking to use it for battlefield 3 will need the beta driver update from NIVIDA 285.79. Once installed it ran smooth and trouble free.

Very good - 'just' got alot better!

I reviewed this card upon receipt on 15th Sept 2011. Now that I have finally got it to work with the latest Nvidia drivers (285.79 - 10th Nov 2011) I would like to update my rating to 5 stars - or "blows me away" status!

It's fast!

Easy to install and safely overclock. Got it to run Flight Simulator X on all Ultra graphics settings, which it does without any slowdowns. It's a fast bit of kit! Tried Starcraft 2 through it, all on extreme settings, no problems at all. Topped off with A* service and delivery, highly recommended.

Excellent performance, but could be quie

I bought the Asus GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1024MB on offer with the free Batman game (Thanks OcUK - Top marks!). Package came with minimal accessories but was well packaged (as Asus always is).

First impressions: Card is extremely well put together and is solidly built. the only downside to the construction is that the fan shroud attaches too high against the rear bracket, so on my case (which is at least 6 years old I might add!) the quick release catch was not able to hold the card in place so I hard to use screws.

Noise: The card could quiet frankly be quieter. At 55% it's "too" noisy for the temperature. I really think they could have built a better cooler quite frankly.

Performance: Slight issue.. it would artifact at STOCK speeds in Heaven Benchmark 2.5. Slight voltage bump and those were gone, and now running at 951Mhz Core1902Mhz Shader2304Mhz (4608!) memory.

Bottomline: A solid performer, that could have been a little quieter and at the time outstanding value.

Very good - just

I upgraded from a 3.5 yr old Leadtek 8800GT, and overall performance from the ASUS 560Ti has improved my system both in (game) graphics and general performance of some software most notably Adobe. However to say the increase 'blows me away' would be an exaggeration. Possibly one would need to spend considerably more than

WHAT A CARD!

I built my first gaming rig entirely from Overclockers and opted for this graphics card over the AMD 6950 1GB. All I can say is wow! What an excellent decision.

My old computer had a 9800GT and was struggling to maintain 30fps on low settings for the latest games; this card has no problem doing so. It can run Crysis 2 at 1080p, on Ultra, with the ultimate texture pack just nicely. It rarely drops below 30fps and is running at 900MHz core and 4200Mhz memory.

As for temps, in the Antec 300 case it maintains 32 degrees idle and it has yet to exceed 52 degrees load; just epic! ASUS really have done an excellent job with this cooler.

5 Star!

Buy this card; you won't regret it! :)

Must Buy!

I recently had a HD 5870 and that was a decent enough card but had slight problems running some 3d apps. Replaced it with this beast, and amazing is the best word i can describe it as. It is big and runs stock at 24c idle and after playing crysis 2 for 6 hours straight it tops 44c. It's worth the extra few quid difference and i see no need to upgrade this fro years to come.

Again 5 star service from OCUK making it even more enjoyable to use :)

ASUS AMAZING!

Amazing card got one of these for a little more than the pre-order price. WOW mine is running 975mhz / 1950mhz / 4500mhz which is faster than a Gigabyte SOC 560ti! On stock voltage too. Incredibly quiet and more silent than my old MSI GTX460 Cyclone. It actually came with the new BIOS (70.24.11.00.01) so did not need to update it. Have had it running at 1ghz on 1.03v but got scared and backed it down to 975mhz. Once again OCUK have brought you an excellent product at an amazing price !

kully 2011-03-30

running in sli @950mhz!

system specs:
2 x 560s/ asus maximus III formula @ 4ghz (i5-750)/ gt corsair 7-7-7-20/1600mhz ram/
You have to update the bios on these to cure the high rpm whilst gaming. With the new bioses the cards are ultra quiet and the software (smartdoctor) o/cs these to 950 mhz with a slight voltage increase.
Getting 90 fps in crysis 2 at max settings at 1920 x 1200.
Built quality is amazing n temps are 40 (idle) and 80 (load) which is superb considering the overclock.
Single gpu non-overclocked temps were 30 idle and 69 under load, have a silverstone ft-02 case which helps immensely.
