Exceptional value for money.

This asus card is absolutely fantastic. Let's start off with the basics: it's a GTX 670, so its performance is phenomenal. It runs pretty much any game at maximum settings in 1080p with 60+ FPS; battlefield 3, Crysis 2, Bioshock infinite, Borderlands 2, Metro 2033, tomb raider, Skyrim, you name it! The only games that I know of that it won't do this for are Far Cry 3 (because anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering murder the frame rate in the dense jungle sections) and the infamous Crysis 3. Furthermore, it comes with all the features you get with the Kepler Series: GPU boost, SLI, Physx, Adaptive V-sync, FXAA, etc.

So, that's for a GTX 670 in general, but what about this card? One word: cooling. The cooling system on this card is absolutely fantastic, both for eliminating noise and thermals. Even when over-volted, over-clocked and running at full power for about an hour solid, this cards temperature never exceeds 65 c. Admittedly, I had to raise the fan speed to do this, but at no cost: even at around an 80% fan sepeed, this card is still way quieter than my 30/33/35 (ish) Db case fans and CPU fans. This cooling system gives you a card that will be silent to all but the most fussy audiophile: no fan noise, no coil whine, no rattle, nothing. Just the silent hum of a cool card.

It's also overclocked slightly out of the box: its 1058 MHz max boost actually increases to 1150 (if the temperature is below 70c and there's enough power to spare) thanks to the "Kepler Boost" feature of the Nvidia 600/700 series. As for the overclocking itself? Well, I was disappointed with my card, but it is important to remember that every piece of silicone offers different results: I've seen results varying from 1215 to nearly 1400MHz, so it's highly volatile. However, what you can be sure of with this card, is that you will definitely not experience the heat problems that a stock cooler will give you.

My only complaint is that it really didn't overclock as well as I'd hoped for an Asus card: even with the voltage at its 1.175 max and the power target at 117%, I could only overclock the core by 92 Mhz, giving me a max boost clock of 1241 MHz. The memory overclocked much better though, reaching 1757 MHz (5271 MHz effective).

Overall, this card is fantastic value for money: the only card that can currently beat it is the HD 7970, and at current prices, that's not going for less than

fantastic

This card is fantastic will eat any game you throw at it upgraded from a GTX 480 and the performance increase is far more than i expected as the 480 is still a powerhouse for a 2 year old gpu. If you are looking at an upgrade this comes highly recommended and out of the box it beats a stock GTX 680 and still faster than a GTX 760 also whisper quite even under load buy it!!!!!!!!!!

Also fantastic price and delivery as usual by Overclockers

Best overclocker for medium range gpu

A good one for running games in very high settings. Also much cooler than AMD gpu's.
