Good, but awful BIOS

Before you do anything with this board, make sure you update the BIOS to the latest version or you will have a real mission even getting it to POST half the time, making it seem like you have a dead one (you can copy it to a CD and do it from within the BIOS, pretty simple).

That's the reason I only gave it a 3/5.

Appart from that it seems stable and performance is good.

Absolutely fantastic mobo, very advanced, and I love being able to use my mouse with the BIOS.

Very easy to setup

Great motherboard, auto overclocking is a bit scary though as it bumps my blck to 104+ which seems to disagree with my ATI HD5850's overclock. I'd almost say there are too many options now. I get lost between the EFI Bios settings for CPU config, overclock and the Asus AI suite II overclock settings :)

I wrote a review before and rated 4 stars because of bios issues and hitting a 4.6ghz wall, now i updated the bios and have reached 5.1ghz with all settings on auto, even auto voltage which it set at 1.4v.
So this board is cheap but 5.1ghz with 2600k deserves a 5 stars.
CPU Batch number L039B470 Bought also from OCUK.

Excellent start

Lucky enough to grab 2600k and this mobo, straight out of box to 4.6ghz at 1.29v, with new bios this chip will fly.
Idles at 16 to 18c and max temp so far is only 51c.
The board is a great starting point, 2 way sli capable but not recommended, will be looking for a board that has nf200 for extra lanes.
I have to rate this board 4 stars only because of buggy bios, once this gets straightened out its gotta be a 5.
