Seriously good for the price.

Ditched the blower for EK's waterblock and once again I'm ecstatic with AMDs offering. Cool as a cucumber and maxed out on pretty much every game I own at 1440p. I haven't touched an Nvidia since the 9800 and these cards are precisely the reason why. Amazing value for money when you consider the competition.

You should really consider this card above all else at 1440p. No joke.

Robert Relva 2020-01-29

It feels good to go AMD again!

It has been a long time since I had an AMD GPU and I am not dissapointed in the slightest. I have put my reference card under water and the temps barely push past 50c when under load. The blower is louder than the normal 2 fan design on none refernce cards but it does do a very good job at dissapating heat out the back. The design and build quality feel great. The backplate is aluminium as well. I have not had any issues with the drivers either. Well worth the price, it has been used on games like EFT/Apex/CSGO/FFXV/PUBG with no problems!

New life to an old machine

Bought this to refresh my very dated 770, and despite the rest of the hardware staying the same (At this point over 5 years old), it has really made a huge difference. I had some initial issues as I had a dud card which had many of the same issues that people have been getting due to driver issues, but as soon as my replacement arrived, it worked like a charm.

Cameron Turner-Piper 2020-01-10

A great deal with the offers

The card itself performs well, though i did had trouble with it crashing my game (so check all your settings carefully) sadly all the offers advertised on the site were not available when i tried to claim them but Overclockers offer a competitive price. in trying to claim the offers i ended up having to register for 4 new accounts but other than that i don't think you will be disappointed with this card.

Works a treat!

Purchased this after my old GPU stopped working after only 2 years. Very happy with the purchase which I have been using to play Halo MCC with on an Ultrawide screen. No issues with FPS (despite the rest of the PC build being over 5 years old) and runs very smoothly.
Very happy!

Michael Conroy 2020-01-10

Awesome GPU. Very happy.

I bought this card to replace a pair of old GTX970's that I was running in SLI mode. This new RTX 5700XT easily wipes the floor with my old setup. I can even buy a 1440p screen now! Whoop-Whoop. 3D mark and Unigine benchmarks are great and I'm getting loads more FPS on my favourite games plus less heat and less fan noise now that I have upgraded to the 5700XT. Very pleased. OCUK are a pleasure to buy from.

Mr Alex Russell 2020-01-08

Not as loud as i was expecting

Great card for the money, for 1440p 144hz gaming there is no need to spend any more at this point in time. Definitely reccomended.

Robert Pacey 2020-01-05

Great improvement over my older GTX 670

No crashes or failures yet, simple installation and a nice clean looking card.
Great piece of kit!

Chris Dixey 2020-01-03

Great Mid range Card

I bought this as a replacement for my old GTX 960, I was not disappointing at all for a £300 card. I just wonder why I did not upgrade sooner.

Stephen Brown 2020-01-03

Amazing card

Bought this card in preparation for a jump to 1440p 144Hz.

The packaging and build quality of the card are both very good.

The Radeon software is excellent and provides plenty of Overclocking features alongside interesting quality features like radeon anti-lag etc.

Finally, and most importantly, the performance of this card is absolutely amazing for the price. It's a great 1440p card and after various rebates it's only £300 total. Insane value for a very affordable card that looks and feels surprisingly good for a reference blower model.
Rivals RTX 2070 performance for considerably less money. Love this card already.

Scott Robinson 2020-01-02

Best value high end card I could find

I upgraded my monitor and this card runs 1440 144hz with no issues and high frames. I can up the graphics on my games to look a lot better than they did on my old Sapphire 7870 and they run perfectly.

Good upgrade

Upgraded from a GTX 760 twin frozr. Will be a massive improvement for me. Good value proposition

Way Better Card Than I Thought

Replacement from r9 290 been a long time... Runs really well no problems. Did a heavy undervolt on mine with no performance loss and massive temperature drops. Very pleased.

Happy with my purchase

Just built my first PC, wanted a reasonable graphic card as I use Photoshop, edit video footage & occasionally play games. Having looked to what’s available decided to go with either a AMD Radeon RX 5700XT or GeForce RTX 2060 Super, after looking at a number of reviews there seemed to be very little choose between the 2 but the RX 5700 XT came out slightly on top. I chose Asus mainly because I trust the brand & at the time of purchase there was a £65 cash back plus a software bundle.
Happy with the GPU software suite; if you have a compatible monitor it is Radeon FreeSync 2 HDR ready. Only had the card for a couple of weeks but have played The Division 2 & Steel Division 2 and both run very smoothly at the default settings.

Nige Beck 2019-12-30

Great Card With Promise

Was bought to replace a Vega 64, while most reviews show these cards to be about on par for performance, I was coming from a less recognized brand to this one and I saw a marked improvement in performance.
This card runs a little hot, but its within AMDs specs and doesn't seem to throttle heavily.
And as a fairly new card there is still room for driver improvement.

Great Card With Promise

Was bought to replace a Vega 64, and while most reviews show the performance to be on par between these two cards, I'm going from a cheaper manufacturer to this one and saw a marked improvement in performance. I will definitely stick with more recognized brands in the future.
This card runs a little warm, but AMD state that its within spec for this card and it doesn't aggressively throttle because of it.
There's also some potential as the driver matures.

Jonathon Robertson 2019-12-27

Good card can recommend

Having just built my first PC, wanted a reasonable graphic card as I use Photoshop, edit video footage & play games. My current PC has a Radeon RX 570 which has given good service but felt that I could do with a more powerful card as I have also upgraded my monitor to a 27 inch WQHD model. My PC build was a Aorus Z390 Master MoBo, Intel I7 processor, 32 GB of DDR4 memory powered by a 750 watt Corsair PSU (needed a min. 600W power supply). Whilst I currently have no plans to overclock, there is that option in the future.

Great upgrade from rx480 4gb

Early days but coming from a Ryzen 5 1600 and rx480 that struggled with bfv online to the point I stopped playing and went back to bf1. I can now easily play bf1 on ultra with respectable frame rates for my ultrawide freesync monitor and bfv is now playable and looks great. No issues with fan volume, working great!

Great Card With Promise

Baught this card to replace a RX Vega 64 card, all though most reviews show them to be close in performance I was going from a cheap brand to this one and I saw a marked improvment and reduced frame drops, will stick with more recognized brands in future. I'd say this card give good performance for its price, and has the room to improve as the driver does. It seems to run hot but AMD says its within specs and it doesn't seem to throttle too harshly.

Jonathon Robertson 2019-12-24

great, quiet, plays 4k games fine.

Excellent card. i recently built a new itx system and my existing RTX 2080ti wouldn't fit so i sold it. i wanted to game in 4k as i have a predatro 32" 4k monitor so after reading reviews and forums got this. lovely card, quiet and plays balck flag at 4k high details superbly. great value card and it also looks nice, thought it was damaged at first but then noticed the styling!

Good Upgrade

Upgraded from a RX580 and can't say I'm not pleased! Been waiting for an upgrade for quite some time and what else to get but the AMD's latest. Very good value for money !

Gabriel 2019-12-21

Great card, really happy now after initial problems

Upgraded from a 1060 and I’m really happy with this, great value for such a powerful card. The drivers were a bit frustrating to be fair, had some black spots on SC2 and it sometimes hangs when alt-tabbing. Overall, it’s super powerful and games run so fast but the drivers do need a bit more tweaking.
For a card of this performance to price ratio though, I’m not fussed.

James Milward 2019-12-19

Best bang for buck, best in its class.

Upgrading from a 1050Ti as it was long overdue. This is a beast of a card. Cooling isn't too loud, which was my concern. Considerign the cashback and all, deal of the year!

Rrobaa 2019-12-19

Would reccomend!

Upgraded from a 970 and so far am very happy with the results - roughly doubled my FPS on most games. Also having no issues with VR. Great value for money!

Chris Pollicott 2019-12-16

Amazing

Coming from Nvidia and im amazed at the 5700 xt so much performance and the software for is good for watching clocks with ingame overlays and temps and changing setting

ryan Todd 2019-12-16

Very nice GPU

Bought this to replace my Nvidia GeForce 1080 FE, mainly for FreeSync over HDMI and the slight performance boost (and a return to team red). Actually quite impressed with it. I feared the worst with the blower cooler, but found it to be no different in noise compared to the 1080 FE, and does not have any of the grindy noise from previous AMD cards I have had. Performance clearly beats the 1080, and depending on the title is quite significant (Red Dead Redemption 2 for example). 3DMark scores jumped up by over 1000, and now with the latest 2020 drivers, it has a slick new interface to use, and I love the integer scaling feature for old games. Really glad I bought this, highly recommended.

Paul Oglesby 2019-12-13

Fantastic card and price

Picked this up during the Black Friday sales so i got a nice offer on this card. Been using it for around a week now and am really impressed. A huge upgrade from my previous AMD card, so far im playing pretty much all games on very high+ settings and getting consistent 80-144fps (borderlands 3, apex, out worlds, csgo etc). As for noise, i havent heard a peep out of the card yet, i also have a ps4 which is usually on all the time and the ps4 fans are x100 noiser than this card, which is great as i was a little worried about extra noise. Only issue i could think of if i had to knitpick is that it would be great to have a 2nd hdmi/non DP port but its really a minor thing. Very happy with my purchase and with the service from OCUK

Damien Watson 2019-12-13

Going well so far

Changed from an NVIDIA card and impressed with the upgrade so far, just be mindful that as a "blower" style card, it will likely be louder than a double fan setup. Also one DVI socket only on the card, so be mindful if you have a VR and monitor setup which will compete for it!

Great Upgrade

Coming from a 980ti i have seen quite the leap in performance and the radeon software offers a lot of tweaking and monitoring options.

Great, especially undervolted

Watercooled it with an EK waterblock and runs really well! Much better performance than my GTX 1070

Alex McDermott 2019-12-10

Quite a good card

Upgraded from an Nvidia gtx 1060 and can definitely feel the difference. The 5700XT in my opinion represnts the best value for money at this price point.

James Reid 2019-12-09

Excellent upghrade

Really nice looking card, the full metal shroud feels 'premium'. Doubled my framerates compared to a GTX 970, so very happy with the performance. Bit noisy under load, and the air coming out of the back is red hot, but not overly concerned as seems well built. I plan to integrate it into my loop anyway. Best value for money out there IMO.

R Harrison 2019-12-09

Great card if you're looking for price/perf at the mid range.

Card performs very well in demanding games, and the blower style cooler is a lot quieter than I first thought whilst still enabling consistently high boost clocks, probably the quietest blower cooler card I have ever used.

The card design itself is solid with a metal shroud, light up Radeon logo, and a metal backplate. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Harry Diep 2019-12-09

Lot's of research and reading reviews.

I've been a console gamer/PC enthusiast for years and never did they meet from a gaming perspective until now. I've totally ruined console gaming for myself by sticking this card in my PC and trying out Destiny 2 which I was playing on an XBOX ONE X. I love this card and I love the fact that I can now see the game porperly with detail not to mention the fact that I now feel like I'm in the game; response time, movement, everything is just better on the PC. Very happy with the performance of the card although I don't have a huge amount to compare to except console. I'm using this card with an ACER QHD 3440x1440 monitor and getting 75fps, not sure if that's good but it's way better than playing it via the ONE X on a 4K TV so it's good enough for me. Here comes the PC enthusiat bit; despite not being a PC gamer until now I have this card watercooled along with the CPU in a custom loop with an EK block and in this weather [December UK], with no heating on, I'm getting card temps of 23 at idle and up to around 34-36 during games. I haven't overclocked anything, just running at stock...that's for another day when I no more about that side of things. All in all I'm pleased I went for this card, I can recommened it so far.

aich69 2019-12-09

Great GPU

When considering its price compared to its competitors its a fantastic GPU and delivers a rock steady gaming experience with solid performance i would recommend this Asus RX 5700XT 8GB to anyone especially when on a budget

Josh Brassington 2019-12-09

Best bang for your buck

Without overclock and in combination with a Ryzen 3600 and 16GBRAM@3600-CL16 RAM on an x570 board, 3DMark gave me a score of 8535 in Time Spy (top 20% at time of writing). Considering the range of 5700 XT's available, this card offers great value for money - especially with the cashback deal.

Miles J 2019-12-09

A lot of bang for the buck

Both Radeon RX 5700 cards show good, in fact, super strength at Quad HD resolutions in that 2560x1440 realm Forget 1080p, this card can deliver triple digit fps at 1440p even in the latest games. Both Radeon RX 5700 cards deliver good framerates at 2560x1440, but the XT has a better cooler which extracts more of the heat from the case and has the extra speed to make gaming at 1440p a real pleasure. Stock fan profile prioritises quiet over cooling and temps were reaching 80C during long gaming sessions. Bumping the fan up to 44% when gaming is not noticeable with headset on and keeps the temperatures around 70C. Very impressed overall with this card, which for the price has NVIDIA beat.

Phil Keeling 2019-12-09

Great

Great improvement over what i previously had.

Conor Mcbeath 2019-12-07

Worth it!

In my opinion Asus make the best cards and once again they have delivered on this one. as its a blower card it has all the usual drawbacks, but this card minimises those. Would recommend for this price range.

Daniel Morris 2019-12-06

Not a bad pick

Being a blower card it does perform rather well on the acoustic department
It runs a bit hot but i trust Asus to make a product that will not fail that easy
Temperatures 80 degrees gpu 90 degrees junction temp sounds ok
The memory temperature is high at 80 degrees
Solid card good for the money

Mr Anton Sztupi 2019-12-04

Powerful Card!

Upgraded to this from an RX Vega 56. Pleasantly surprised by the increase in performance and reduction in sound. I'm running a slight undervolt to help with the temps and have the rest of the card running at stock.

Grant Dreyer 2019-12-02

5700XT represented the best bang for buck upgrading my 8 Year Rig for 1080p gaming now, and supporting higher resolution gaming in near future with a new monitor purchase.

Spent a long time comparing offerings from nvidia and AMD but eventually settled on the XT variant of the 5700. So far, no noise concerns whilst playing AAA titles and performance is as expected. Very happy with purchase!

John Leitch 2019-12-02

Great card

Great card, eats everything i throw at it in 1440p with ease.

Zak 2019-12-02

seems to be a very nice upgrade from my current graphics card, looks very good so far no issues and it makes me excited to game again

very good so far cant wait to game some more to push this to its limits
