- 2x USB 3.1 (Type A)
- Total of 5x USB 3.0 and 6x USB 2.0 (internal & external)
- 2x M.2 (1x PCIe 3.0 x4) / 6x SATA 6G
- Supports max. 64 GB DDR4-RAM at 2.666 MHz
- WiFi modules with fast AC-WiFi & BT V5
- Integrated LED lighting as well as RGB-LED header
The ASUS TUF H370-PRO GAMING (WI-FI) in Detail
The ASUS TUF H370-PRO GAMING (WI-FI) ATX motherboard for 8000- series Intel processors offers a total of two PCIe x16 slots, one of which is connected to the chipset via 16 full lanes and the other utilises 4. The board supports AMD's CrossFire technology and offers the possibility of installing several graphics cards at the same time. For additional upgrades and add-in cards, the board offers four PCIe x1 slots.
Up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM can be installed in the four DIMM slots in fast Dual-Channel Mode. RAM modules up to a frequency of 2.666 MHz are supported by Coffee Lake CPUs. Additionally the motherboard comes with two M.2 slots which support four and two PCIe 3.0 lanes respectively as well as ultra fast NVMe SSDs. The NVMe protocol enables data transfer rates of nearly 4 GB/s. This makes M.2 PCIe SSDs up to eight times faster than SATA 6G SSDs! Six SATA 6G ports allow additional devices like SSDs, HDDs and optical drives to be connected.
The ASUS TUF H370-PRO GAMING (WI-FI) comes with two USB 3.1 Type A ports on the I/O panel. USB 3.1 ports are capable of reaching maximum speeds of 10 Gbit/s, twice as fast as traditional USB 3.0 ports. Three USB 3.0 ports, one of which comes in the slim Type C style and which allows devices to be inserted in either orientation, and four USB 2.0 ports to enable further peripherals to be connected. A LAN port is connected to a Intel I219V LAN chip while the Realtek ALC887 audio chip provides the I/O panel with audio output. The board's connectivity options are rounded out by the addition of an HDMI- and a DisplayPort connector to allow display output from the integrated GPU.
Internally the motherboard comes with one USB 3.0 header and two USB 2.0 headers as well as COM-, Clear CMOS- and TPM headers. In addition to a 4-pin header for the CPU cooler the board comes with two 4-pin headers for case fans and an AiO water pump connector. In terms of special features, the ASUS TUF H370-PRO GAMING (WI-FI) has RGB-LED lighting and a WiFi module that supports the fast AC standard as well as Bluetooth V5.0.
