A great case - quiet, easy to work with, and versatile
by Rod TrimI bought the Rev.1 version of this case as I needed the layout to be reversible, due to the layout of the room. The case is very easy to work with, with plenty of room and clear instructions. MB and PSU positions can be varied according to your needs. There is room for any number of fans and SSD/HDD. It comes with a built-in fan control (and LED) PCB, so you get the choice of controlling your fans centrally or via your MB. Cable management is pretty good, which is important for me as I have three RAIDed pairs of disks plus an optical drive, which leaves me with a lot of cables to hide.I pulled this apart, reversed the orientation, played with layouts, and installed all of my components, all within two hours - so if you're just doing a standard installation it should be much faster than that! The case is remarkably quiet. I was a little worried when I first saw the amount of mesh around the case, but overall it's very quiet indeed. The Rev.2 case has fixed a couple of (very minor) niggles with the Rev.1, such as adding a PSU shroud and providing some covers for unused HDD slots, to tidy up the interior. They've also improved the PCB to give you a bit more control over the fans and lights, and added USB-C to the front panel. I'll be buying the parts to upgrade mine to include the new Rev.2 goodies, and it'll be simple enough to install them.I've now had mine for over a year and am still very pleased with it. I haven't lost any skin off my knuckles since I bought this, which shows you how easy it is to work with!Highly recommended.
