Good cooling, but have had issues with air bubbles in the pump.

I purchased this for my new Ryzen 7 system. Cooling and volume is great and my system looks great with it as well.

My system started to rattle when under stress, as after a bit of searching online it seemed the problem was not isolated to my AIO system. Specifically this model.

I did what was recommended, I unset the heat-sink/pump from the socket and tried to shake out the air bubbles up into the top of the AIO system. This took three attempts with having to reattached everything between each attempt.

Sadly I didn't seem to be getting anywhere and with searching more online it was recommended i try refill the AIO system.

I purchased refill liquid, and when i went to refill the AIO it was literally completely full already and seemed pointless to try the refill so I just screwed the cap on the block back on.

Saying that system is pretty much silent after extended use now, on low temperatures though the rattle comes back (even if not very loud) but i hear it.

Tried to RMA but i was told to send audio and that my warranty was void now anyway (because i removed the cap). I never heard back after sending the audio.

I love overclockers, have used them for 10 years now. This wasn't my best experience though.

Tamed my 8700k with ease!

Bought this to tame my new 8700k as I had read the coffee lake flagship runs hot. I really didn't want to risk delidding, so I went for a triple fan 360mm AIO. I was not disappointed! CPU at stock speeds maxed out at around 50°C during a good gaming thrashing which I was hugely impressed with. With a mild overclock to 4.8Ghz on all cores I am now maxing out at 70°C which is comfortably below any worrying thermal level. Can't even hear the cooler fans, it is absolutely whisper quiet.
Another thing I like is the simple setup with just just one cable from the pump to fan header, Unlike the Corsair Hydro range which have cables all over the place making a tidy build more challenging, and unnecessary monitoring software using up resources. It just runs from a PWM fan header absolutely perfectly, and it’s easy to set up a custom fan curve in my Mobo BIOS. Hugely satisfied with this cooler.

Truly is silent and I'd highly recommend it for it's cooling capacity!

I'm running a Ryzen chip that runs fairly hot in some applications but the cooler handles it like it's nothing, keeping the temps more than safe (I've never peaked 65C with it) I would say it's probably overkill if you're not using your pc for heavy loads as more inexpensive, smaller unit will probably do the job but it's an excellent cooler if you're like me and got a case that could fit it and wanted to use it to it's potential.

I could also see it benefitting a case with poor airflow as it does such a great job with cooling it and as long as you don't have the fans turned up to full 24/7 then you'll barely notice it's even there, it does an excellent job at cooling even at low RPMs so you'd never have it on full unless you REALLY needed it.

As for build quality, the radiator is an excellent fully copper rad that has a nice spraying of black paint so it isn't the grubby copper colour from most angles and all feels very sturdy, the CPU pump is a nice sand blasted aluminum looking thing with the branding on it that really stands out. It's not RGB but that's not my thing really so I'm pleased with what it is and the piping is alright, not braided fibre or anything, it's a plastic hose with a spring around it that I presume is to stop it bending to the point that the water can't circulate and it does the job and looks well enough.

Overall after all that rambling on I'd say it's a great cooler and have recommended it to my friends due to my experiences with it.
