“The BitFenix Shinobi XL may be big and expensive but it’s certainly impressive. If you’re planning on building an enthusiast grade system with no compromises, you’ll be very happy with how capable this chassis is."

(from 5 customer reviews)Very Good Value
Sold for water cooling!
I have a triple RAD & 3 120mm fans, I unfortunately had to reverse them, they would only fit 1 way around, the back-plate metal prevents you putting a triple RAD in there. My pump takes up 2 rack spaces, and as I had to reverse my RAD, the hoses come down preventing me from adding an optical drive!
Also the rubber used to pass cables through the back (side) of the case is very flimsy and kept coming off.
The Hard drive rails are very flimsy, but once you place a hard drive on it they become a lot more sturdy.
Also when you connect more than 3 drives into the hard drive cage in it's default position, it's difficult to close the case as it's VERY close. You can rotate the hard drive cage but I had already built the machine!
Few minor issues there but overall an excellent build quality and very good value for money, I came from a
good case , silly price
Okay as i am an owner of the bitfenix shinboi case as well as the xl. all i can say is its not double the size of the basic one yet its charging double the price... whenever eveything else is exactly the same other than the size.. its a rip off because the basic one is much cheaper and still a decent size.
Shinobi XL
This case offers plenty of room inside and the external finish to the front and top is excellent. See my full review here: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18386720
Spacious and affordable
For the money, this case is fantastically presented. It's spacious, has ample stock cooling, and has cable management features to rival much more expensive cases.
The soft touch panels (front and top) are a great finish, and are going to be somewhat scratch resistant (but they are a fingerprint magnet).
The HDD caddies are a little flimsy, so it's worthwhile taking out any you have left over (so they don't rattle), and the top/front panels feel like you are going to break them when taking them off, but at such a keen price you can let these minor niggles slide.
One note however. Don't be fooled into thinking that this case can "comfortably" house two 360mm watercooling radiators. You can get one in the top easy enough, although you will lose a minimum of two (even 3 depending on rad thickness) 5.25" bays, and fitting one in the front will leave you without any 3.5" bays at all!
