What is AMD’s 3D V-Cache Technology? 

AMD’s 3D V-Cache is an innovative 3D vertical cache design that redefines both the capacity and speed of your PC.  

To keep it short and sweet, the cache serves as a small, integrated amount of memory on the CPU itself. Its purpose is similar to that of RAM, as it will perform and remember certain tasks. However, as the cache is built into the CPU, there is a notable lack of loading times or input lag between different tasks being completed.  

There are also different ‘levels’ of cache, ranging from level 1 to 3. In terms of the impact this has your PC’s performance, the higher this level is, the less capacity of memory you have but the faster the data transfer speeds are.
