Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales Gameplay
Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales follows on from the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. We follow Miles Morales take on the Spider-Man mantle and his powers surpass Peter Parker’s as a new threat rolls into town. War is brewing between an energy corporation and a high-tech criminal army. It’s up to Spider-Man to save the day.
The story follows Miles as he tries to keep New York City safe in Peter’s absence. A group called the Underground pose a growing threat, due to their vendetta against Roxxon Energy Corporation. The more Miles learns, the more complicated things get. Plus, there is a whole cast of familiar faces scattered throughout the action. Is it even Spider-Man content without J. Jonah Jameson?
This is an open world game where you must master your new skills, including bio-electric venom blasts and camouflage powers, to defeat the big bads. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Spider-Man game without performing amazing acrobatics across New York City, too. In addition to new skills, this game introduces gadgets which make combat more versatile. Both abilities and gadgets are evolved utilising a skill tree system, becoming more powerful as you progress through the game.
NVIDIA Integration
One of the things we loved about Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered was the enhanced graphics thanks to NVIDIA integration. Well, we’re happy to see the same graphic support can be found in Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales. Experience New York City in the winter like never before!
With NVIDIA Reflex, you can reduce latency as you duke it out with Underground goons. Take on the enhanced Rhino with NVIDIA DLSS upscaling, for smooth frame rates at beautiful resolutions. Upscaling is also supported with AMD FSR 2.1 and Intel XeSS. Of course, we can’t forget about ray tracing. Whether you’re gaming with an RTX 30 Series and 2nd gen RT cores or an RTX 4090 and 3rd gen RT cores, this feature will bring the game to life with realistic lighting and shadow effects.
With the right monitor and enough PC performance, you can also enjoy Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales in ultra-wide resolutions. 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 32:9, and even 48:9 ratios are supported! It should be noted that 48:9 requires three monitors that are compatible with NVIDIA Surround or AMD Eyefinity. Is Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales Multiplayer?
Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales has been available to play on PlayStation 4 and PS5 since 2020. The launch date for PC was November 18th 2022! This is single player game, so understandably there is no crossplay support. There’s nothing to stop you sharing your gameplay with friends via stream though!
