A little over a month ago, a new, affordable streaming brand made its debut. I’m, of course, talking about Streamplify – the new one-stop-shop for all your streaming needs. Today, their line-up expands to include the Streamplify HUB CTRL 7.
HUB CTRL 7
The Streamplify HUB CTRL 7 is a USB hub with functionality at its heart, providing you with extensive connectivity at all times. As the “7” might suggest, this hub has seven USB ports – six USB 3.0 and the last is equipped with fast charging for your smartphone. Each port has its own power button, granting you flexible and easy control over all your devices.
Above the USB ports are seven slots that house an acrylic icon, which can be easily placed and removed from the slot. In total, there are sixteen icons to play with, each featuring an embedded design to help you denote the function of each USB. With designs such as a microphone, headset, lighting, laptop, and even the numbers one to seven, these icons represent the many devices needed when streaming. Simply plug your device in and match the corresponding icon!
Aesthetics
Adding a splash of colour, the icon slots contain LEDs that can be controlled by the RGB button recessed in the end curve of the casing. Allowing you to scroll through colours and lighting effects, these LEDs illuminate the acrylic icon and the design within. Additionally, each power button features an indicator LED to show which USB ports are currently on. At a glance, you have all the information you need.
Finally, to help keep your desk looking clean and tidy, the HUB CTRL 7 comes with a cable clip. Roughly the same length as the hub itself, this clip has seven notches for you to feed the wires through, keeping them contained. Never worry about unruly wires again!
