All indie games deserve their day in the sun! For June, we’re looking at the open-world survival craft… Solarpunk.

What is Solarpunk?

Solarpunk is a base-building game set in the skies. Developed by a two-person team, Cyberwave, with Kickstarter support, this open-world survivor sees you travelling between biomes on an airship to craft bases, where you can not only survive but thrive.

"Solarpunk

As your home grows, you will need to generate electricity using wind and solar energy that your base can utilise to automate functions. This means meticulous planning, requiring batteries, turbines, cable runs, and optimised layouts to keep everything running smoothly.

"Solarpunk

Playing solo or in local co-op, Solarpunk is not driven by combat or intricate narratives. There are roughly twenty hours of progression before you are free to perfect your homestead and navigate life by your own goals. Let your creativity flourish!
