GRAPHIC DESIGNER / MARKETING ASSISTANT - FULL TIME (Ref: MARK01)

As Marketing Assistant / Graphic Designer you will report to the Marketing Manager and this position would suit someone with some experience or a creative enthusiast who’s keen to learn. Here every day is different, so as well as being hard working and punctual the successful candidate will be willing to learn new skills in a fast moving environment.

Responsibilities & duties:

  • Production of online media such as website banners, landing pages, email marketing, etc.
  • Production of print advertisements
  • Production of other print related collateral
  • Manage OCUK social media accounts
  • Support implementation of PR activities
  • Provide administrative support to the department
  • Assistance with campaign scheduling, execution and follow up

What we are looking for:

  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite Inc. Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Knowledge of email marketing tools such as Mail Chimp or Campaign Monitor
  • Basic HTML / CSS
  • Strong organisational skills and a competent administrator 
  • Able to work within an enthusiastic and creative team
  • Able to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines
  • Effective communicator and active user of social media
  • Interest/experience in computer hardware and gaming would be advantageous
  • Product photography skills are a plus but not essential

GOODS IN SUPERVISOR - FULL TIME (Ref: WARE01)

Support the Logistics Manager in the daily operation of the Goods Receiving function within our busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities & duties:

  • Ensure that all newly received goods are correctly booked into the System within a timely fashion (normally 24 Hrs)
  • Assign stock booking, in order of priority to ensure schedules are achieved
  • Ensure that any disputed deliveries are recorded and disputed in line with current procedures
  • Ensure that products are located in the Warehouse, in the correct manner and in line with current procedures
  • Ensure that stocks of packaging materials (for Goods In) are appropriate, ordered when required and controlled
  • Ensure the yard and covered ramp areas are kept clean and tidy and manage the emptying of the skips
  • Support the Receiving/Putaway Team in all aspects of their roles
  • Assist in training/coaching of new members of the team

What we are looking for:

  • Ideally trained to the standard of NEBS in Supervisory Management
  • Good team worker and leader
  • Knowledge of Goods In and Putaway procedures
  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ideally to hold a FLT Counterbalance//Flexi licence
  • Self-motivated and focussed, with a flexible attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure

CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SALES ASSISTANT - TEMPORARY (Ref: B2C02)

Within our busy sales and customer service department a vacancy has arisen for a temporary B2C Assistant to help with the demands of the department over the festive season (October to December). Customer Service will be Integral to your role and you will ideally have some basic experience in this area. However individuals that show flair will be considered and training will be provided. Also a strong knowledge of computer hardware is essential.

Responsibilities & duties:

  • Offering pre-sales advice on our product range via phone and email
  • Processing telephone orders via credit/debit card
  • Resolving customer service issues via phone and email
  • Liaising with the warehouse to ensure orders are completed and shipped
  • Liaising with our courier company to ensure parcels are successfully delivered
  • Dealing with customer quotations

You will be at the forefront of all the latest computer hardware so knowledge and experience using computer hardware is essential.
