(from 4 customer reviews)amendment!
Just to clear up one point I made about this card. You do have to install the Videomate software if you want to use the remote control in Windows Media Center.
Out of the two programs, Windows Media Center is far better than Compro's software, so install "Compro DTV software" but set-up your channels in Windows Media Center and use that, then the remote will work perfectly in WMC
Works very well!
It's approved for Windows 7, I installed it on Windows 7 Pro 32bit, I don't know about 64bit systems but that should be OK too. Excellent manual for installing the hardware, once that's done just load up Windows 7 Media Center and scan for TV channels. Using a standard roof antenna I get all the Freeview channels and they look good. The included remote control works very well with Windows Media Center. (I didn't even bother installing the Videomate software). Next I want to try it on a Linux system with MythTV because I hate those Freeview ads, and MythTV has an ad blocker. Overall I'm really pleased with this Videomate DVB-T card and can heartily recommend it.
t220
had a few problems with this card at first, i kept getting the dreaded blue screan when windows media was scanning for channals, as a last resort i decided to do a fresh install of windows vista 64 bit and now it is working great, picture quality is very good.
Good Value
Good value, quality etc.
Just make sure you have a 2-pin ATX power switch connector from case power button if you wish to use the Power Up from shutdown feature. (Its says this on the side of the box but not on here)
