Fantastic budget cooler

Installed into a Kolink Citadel microATX case, fit comfortably. Installation process was straightforward, everything needed was supplied for my AM4 board.

Load temps have come down around 20 degrees from stock (2600X), and the cooler is much much quieter. My stock cooler would constantly spin up and down even when idling, which was driving me mad.

Highly recommend this cooler, I think for the price it does a fantastic job.

An excellent product, I've had serious overheating, mounted it on today and the temperature dropped dramatically! The difference is jaw dropping - for me - and it is very silent as well.

Unbeatable budget cooler

Stuck this on my old FX4100 rig. 10 minutes to fit from start to finish.
Stock cooler - 37 idle, 69 load
Eco - 11 idle, 41 load
Outstanding for the price.

not bad

I had to replace my noctua dual heat sink cause one of the fans went down after 6 years of use, I have taken it out and put this in,, it deoes the job nicely tho the other one kept it slightly cooler. but 29 pound to 58 pound still now you gonna see a difference,, great tho,, have an i7 930 cpu lga1366, one of first ones,, keeps it operating temps nicely,, tho they recommend anything below 80 with i7 I prefer anything below 70 so full stress was about 70 t0 72 in each core,, adequate,, 2.8 ghz cpu

Hits the sweet spot for a budget gaming

So i brought this knowing all the good reviews about it, but i can truly say wow! For the price the cooling it manages is outstanding! With low noise which is pucker! Top marks from me.
Currently running i5 4690k @ 4.2ghz max load on p95 72

Great Fan

As normal OCUK was amazeing ordered Thursday came next day :).

Installation is not to bad really I have fitted more complicated coolers than this one.
Very well made for the price I am impressed.

Any way down to what you lot really want to hear

Core i5 760 @2.8mhz (STD CLOCK SPEEDS)

Idle 40c
Stress Test 65c

Idle 30c
Stress Test 43c

If you want a well priced efficient cooler get this one for sure :)

Great cooler, even for a Small Form Fact

Squeezed this into an Antec ISK 600 Small Form Factor ITX Chassis cooling the Intel Pentium K. Even though the case is small, I have been able to modestly overclock the processor from 3.2ghz to 3.8ghz and idle temps are around 45 degrees, rising to around 62 under load.

Instructions are

Cools the G3258 Pentium K like a boss

After reading very positive reviews for this cooler, I decided to get it for my G3258 as I didn't see much point in spending over

budget brilliance

got this to replace stock andnow im idling at 14 degrees its about 14 degrees in this room. need i say more??

Cost effective, COOL

Nice, BIG boy.
Was keeping my i5 4670 idle @ 31C, but swapped the stock cooler with 3 (yes, one to another attached) Aerocool Shark Orange 120mm fans which keeps CPU idle @26. My CPU is rarely @100% load so no worries for overheating.

Recently got one of these to cool my i5 4670k and it works brilliantly.

it runs incredibly quiet and the price is very good for the cooling performance.
my temperatures at stock clock speeds are great, Idle - 27-29C ... Full Load - 52C
i haven't overclocked my CPU yet but will definitely be trying at a later date.

Only downside is that its a little bit fiddly to put together but the instructions and Youtube, help make it very easy to follow

Great CPU cooler and amazing service from Overclockers as always, absolutely love you guys!

Cools a 3570K wonderfully!

What a fantastic cooler. It's rather large, but does a fantastic job. My 3570K idles at about 29-32 and under load (prime95) it's around 60C when running at 4.2GHz.

Fan is also silent and I cannot hear it, even at load. Only problem with this is that it was a little tricky to install and instructions were not great. But once installed, it's great.

Great value

Can only sign under other reviews here. Very well packaged product, easy to follow instructions and it does the job. FX-8320 running at 4 GHz, idling about 27C. Prime95 gets it to about 65C after 20 mins or so which for a fan in this price range is quite impressive. At 1500 RPM you can definitely hear the fan but it is not noisy. I had 800RPM Noctua before so I was pleased that it isn't much louder.
One thing got me slightly confused - heatsink orientation in the instructions doesn't match with how it fits on my AM3+ board. Don't think it makes any difference, though.
Overall - very happy with the product.

Bought this last week and it's absolutely fantastic for the price. I was running around 38c idle with my stock i7 cooler and now it idles at 22-24c! Very impressed!

Best value for the money.

Before buying this, my i5 2500k was running at 60c + @ 3.4ghz after an hour on BF3 on the stock cooler. Now with this installed and with a 2nd fan on, (the 2nd fan covers the nearest ram slot to the processor, so be careful about that) it is overclocked to 4.4ghz and runs at 50c after about an hour on BF3.

As usual OCUK provided their exceptional service, which is why I continue to buy form them time and time again.

10C drop

Bought this as my 6 year old Arctic cooler pro 64 was on it's last legs, my x6 1090t was hitting 70C ;s.

Packaging is very professional for the price, you get more than enough parts in the box + extra for an additional fan if wanted.

Installation was easy (AM3 socket) for me, can't comment on the intel installation. Took no less than 10 minutes plus i added a 2nd fan on the other side.

Noticed 10C cooler idle and it hasn't breached the 50C mark even prime95 tested
23C idle on all cores
29C CPU idle
Massive drop and can recommend.

Great service as usual from Overclockers.

Good cooler

This is a good cooler for the price. I can't tell you whether it's any better than the other million tower coolers on the market that look exactly identical to this one, but here are some numbers for my rig:

i7-3770K (Ivy Bridge) overclocked to 4.2GHz at 1.05V

Running Intel Burn Test (extreme mode) gives a peak temperature of 80*C and an average 75*C when the room temperature is 30*C (typical of Maltese summer). To do that, the fan runs at 1200-1400RPM and is difficult to distinguish over the other fans in the system. So the fan is quiet in terms of volume, but the tone of its noise isn't particularly annoying either. In short I'd recommend it, especially for the price.

amazing cooler

amazing cooler for the price more than capable cooling my OC'd 4.4GHZ I5 gave it 4 stars because of the installation was a bit more fiddly than my other Noctua heat sink still very good for the price.

Josh 2012-07-20

Brilliant performance

This was the first non-stock cooler and I fitted and I done it quite easily using video tutorials etc. The performance of this is great on my i3 2100. idle is 20-30 and 100% load is 35-40.

Brilliant value!

Best budget CPU cooler ever

This is by far the best bang for your buck CPU cooler on the market. It is awesome for overclocking. It works for both Intel and AMD CPUs which is great. With this I got a i5 2500k to 4.8GHZ and it hits no more than 45-50 degrees Celsius under full load.

Jaspal 2012-03-03

Cool as a Cucumber

Was using a stock fan previously and had alot of problems with noise, since fitting the 212 evo its really nice and quiet. Dropped my CPU temp by around 10-15c so thats also a nice bonus.

The cooler its self is rather large but its well worth the purchase.

As always a nice fast delivery

Ash 2012-03-01

Quite large

Got this cooler mounted on my Asus p8z68, The fan is quite large and takes up the first RAM slot. Just bought another 4Gb of RAM so I will have to swap the fan to the other size of the cooler. The actual heat sink is quite tall but fits in my case nicely. Runs at quite a slow rpm, I had to stop my Mother board warning me that the fan speed is low but other than that I've had no problems, keeps my cores nice and cool, around 20 degrees C idle and around 30 - 35 full load with a 4.2 OC on an I5 2500k
