Cooler Master Hyper 412S CPU Cooler

The Hyper 412S CPU Cooler is designed for optimum heat dissipation at low fan speeds. This is thanks to wider fin gaps and a precise heat pipe layout that directs each of their four heat pipes across CPU “hot zones”. These heat pipes are arranged using Cooler Master’s patented CDC™ technology, creating a virtual vapor chamber for maximum cooling potential. The 412S comes equipped with an ultra low speed silent mode fan adapter to virtually erase noise levels.

- Adopts the innovative patented CDC™ (Continuous Direct Contact) technology - side-by-side heat pipe configurations with no gaps creating a perfectly smooth surface for heat conduction.
- Optimized with wider fin gaps to reduce the air flow resistance which maximizes cooling performance at low fan speed condition.
- Quick-snap fan bracket design for easier installation.
- Super low fan speed (900 R.P.M. with Silent Mode Adapter) provides almost noiseless performance.
- Versatile all-in-one mounting solution supporting the latest Intel® LGA 2011 and AMD FM1.
- 4 Direct Contact Heat Pipes / Aluminum Fins
- Fan Airflow: 52.6 CFM ± 10%
- Fan Noise Level: 22.5 dBA (16.1 dBA @ 900RPM)
- Fan Speed: 1,300 RPM ± 10%

- Dimension (W / H / D): 132 x 99 x 160mm (5.2 x 3.9 x 6.3 in)
- Heat Sink Dimensions: 128 x 70 x 160 mm (5.0 x 2.8 x 6.3 in)
- Weight: 507g (1.12 lb)
- Heat Pipes Dimensions: 6mm
- Fan Dimension (W / H / D): 120 x 120 x 25mm (4.7 x 4.7 x 1.0 in)
- Fan Speed: 1,300 RPM ± 10%

This is a great cooler

Hi there, I just wanted to say that I have one of these in my latest machine. I've got a 6 core Intel i7 processor and I need one of these really to keep the temps down nice and low. What I did though was a bit different, I didn't use the fan they provide you with here with this cooler, instead I went to the CMStore which is in the EU, I think it's the Netherlands or something like that, I bought a couple of the Xtraflow Slim fans you can buy them on their own from Coolermaster and I've put those on instead. I've got a Socket 2011 processor you see and on motherboards that use 2011 socket there's usually some problem with the Memory Modules with there not being enough room to use all the slots. I have fitted 2 Xtraflow Slim fans on either side of this cooler, one push and one pull both of them facing towards the back of the case. The air travels in one direction then, with 2 fans it's much better. The trouble with this fan provided it's 25mm where as an XtraFlow Slim i!
s only 15mm wide. In my machine I've got lots of room now for all my RAM to be installed. There was a cooler a bit like this a while ago but they stopped making it so in my case you're better to make your own instead :-)
