I bought this 2 days ago along with an Asus P8Z68-V mobo and 8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM. It keeps the CPU cool at 35C on idle, I cannot control it's speed and its pretty noisy out of the box. I haven't tested it on full load though. Beware, the fan hits my RAM heatsink.

Good, but only 3 pin Connection

This is a great cooler, but be aware that the fans only have the older 3-pin fan header connectors. This means that newer motherboards that use the PWM fan speed control method will not be able to regulate its speed. It is noisy, particularly when it's running at full whack even tho the CPU is idling.

Having said all that, it really does keep the CPU cool under load, and is relatively easy to install.

Great cooler

i bought this cooler a couple of weeks back and what can i say this thing is great. ive got an 1090t overclocked to 3.8 and this thing keeps it idleing at 23 max and 55 max under load. need to check your case before you buy this though its huge i cant add any more memory to my board (M5A97PRO) cause this cooler is slightly pushing the ram and thats the memory at the most far away slots. but overall a great buy.

Really like this cooler purchase for new i7 950 build with Asus R3E, OC to 3.7ghz so far idles around 26C and full load 55C.

I love the fans as no stupid metal clips they just fix on.

Make sure you prep it first and look up Best Thermal Paste Application Methods for HDT coolers.
