Quite good

Don't get me wrong, the design which accommodates for the airflow is absolutely spot on. However, echoing some users' views, some of the interactive parts such as the HDD sliders/clip ins are extremely flimsy. One of the HDD bay, located at the bottom of the front side, had a clip snap off very easily. It still sits fine in there but it's obviously lost some value and convenience. There is easily more room for more HDD/SDD slots at the back of the case where the cable management section is located as well which begs the question - Why did Corsair not put more in? A positive is definitely the airflow, as I get 28-30 degrees c idle temperatures with my Corsair H55 cpu cooler so I'm sure the case does help. I would recommend to someone who is serious about airflow, but I don't think it represents good value for money. B.

Almost the perfect case!

I decided to go for this case due to the fantastic air cooling potential due to the dual chamber design.

The rear compartment contains the PSU, SSD Drives, 2 3.5" bays and the mass of cables we all

The window on the side is slightly bendy when removed, but when screwed down its solid enough.

Be aware this case does have a large footprint, so ensure you have a suitable desk for it.

As with all Corsair products, it came well packaged and has a solid build quality.

Case *looks* ok, but honestly it's mostly plastic and the build quality is generally average.

I am as careful as can be when dealing with PC components but I've had parts of both the HDD trays and SSD cage snap off as they're such flimsy *clip on* plastic.

You only get a few stock fans (I presume as it leaves the option for a radiator at the top) and they're cheap tat that need replacing ASAP.

Honestly I'm not sure what benefit this case brings in it's cube form factor other than easily having tidy cables visible through the window. I do enjoy it's presence and there's no doubting it facilitates good airflow- just don't expect high build quality as you'll be disappointed.

Unique and looks great

Fans included are NOT led so does not provide any fancy lighting.

CD/drive bay is a bit tricky to get locked in but overall a small imperfection.

A truly stunning case which keeps the inside cool and stylish.

5/5 Really Nice Case

Bought the case to replace my old Antec900 and after seeing it ended up buying all new components.

Having the PSU/SSD's split from the mobo is a really nice idea, the cable management looks great and the design is very good.

The PSU mounting can be adjusted from the standard size to the 1-2" larger size of the 1000W+ PSU's and you still have loads of space for everything you could possibly need.

My only "issue" during fitment is the 2.5" drive bays. My old Corsair 128GB fit in nice and snug, but the new Samsung 250GB SSD I bought is around 2mm slimmer and so when you fit it into the drive bay it isn't a snug fit. I rectified it with the cardboard that the SSD came in, since its in the enclosed side and you don't see it.

Overall I would give 9.5/10 (losing 0.5 for the 2.5" bay that I am sure will be adjustable with patience).

Will have to give a second review in a few months when I upgrade to water cooling.

Great Case

My 4 year old build sandy bridge was in a Coolmaster HAF X, after looking at it for so long I wanted to go with something a little smaller and cleaner looking. This case is great, nice area to hide cables, I did replace most of the fans with the Corsair Silent LED ones rather than the standard and insdtatled a fan moniotor. Case has got the look and use, for a average build, fits a H105 Cooler in it also no probs.

Only downside would be the SSD Cases and HDD bays frames are a little weak and can easily break.

Great, but not perfect

A great idea, this case is really accommodating and an interesting twist.

does have some design issues though, for example with all the space in the rear side, they really could have put some more HDD bays in.

Additionally, the 5,1/2 bays were a nightmare to get installed. The reason behind this is that the bays can only be installed from the front.
I use a fan controller and like to screw this in to make sure it doesn't wobble, as most tool-free solutions only secure one side. But you cant remove the caddy, screw in your bays/drives and then install the caddy because you need to have the front panel off to remove the caddy. Then the front panel wont fit back on because the drives are too large to fit through the front panel.
You can't screw in the drives to the caddy with it installed as there is no access to the top side of the caddy.
I had to work around this by using a thumb screw and tightening it as best i could from the side access.

Other than some access/design problems though, its great for temps and keeping your build on show!

WOW what a case

This case is brill makes it all easy to get to all your components without any wires in the way, got all me watercooling equipment installed to and i have to say it looks just wonderful, all temps are now very low and very well worth the money.

Best case ever!

Oh wow. I was looking for an upgrade from Corsair Carbide 300R. It wasn't bad case, but due to more HDDs and SSDs, PCIe devices and little space for cable management, needed an upgrade.
Great airflow, lots of space, beautiful window.

Only downsides are that top of the case and PSU installation place doesn't have dust filters. Other than that, great!
Thanks OC'ers UK!

Watercool no problem

Got this case to go for something a bit different for my watercooling setup and it holds the whole lot without a problem. Full water cooled mobo, gpu, cpu set up with full 3 x 140 rad with push pull at the front, though you have to loose the concealed dust filter if you go for none slimline fans, a 2 x 140 rad at the top though constraints with the fittings meant I could only get a pull fan set up on this but I think push pull may be possible when I finally upgrade to hardline tubing.

For the most part it is easy to build and cable management is pretty straight forward, basically hide it all in the second compartment. Only reason I am not giving it a five star is because for the first few months I could not for the life of me work out what was causing a rattle, turned out to be one of the HD mounting bays and the SATA cable hidden under the PSU mounting bracket is a pain to get out if you ever need to move it, which I did to resolve the rattling drive bay

Great case

I could go on for ages about how great this case is but I shall not bore you with all that.

If you want easy cable management and great cooling then this is the case for you. So easy to install everything.

I do have one small niggle that's not enough for me to mark the case down to 4 stars...

The wires for the power switch, reset switch, HDD LED and power led could do with being a few inches longer. They reach the jumpers on the mobo but I couldn't run them the way I wanted to to hide them. Small niggle on an otherwise superb case.

awsome case but word or warning

love this case bags of room and keeps everything nice and cool and makes cable management a doddle, but a word of warning and its not a downer on the case but be careful when you insert a usb stick as the matte black effect on the switch side will be very easy to scratch if you fumble about :D

Fantastic case

Love this case truly fantastic performance, the stock fans are loud, even at 7v but luckily i had some 5v cables so it is now very quiet and still have great performance.

GPU is the hot GTX 470 and CPU AMD Phenom II X6 @ 4.3GHz and Silver arrow HSF

Coolermaster Cosmos RC1000 case - with fans at 7v MB-36C, CPU-23C & GPU 60C
Corsair 540 - MB -28C, CPU 17C and GPU 47C

There is a problem however the USB3.0 cable is very short as such i am unable to connect it to the internal header on my Gigabyte GA990FXA motherboard so be sure to check that out as you may need an extension cable.

Absolutley love this case, plenty of room and cable management is a doddle. Only niggle i have is the front panel connectors were a little on the short side for my motherboard, good job i had some extensions. Cooling is great, but i recommend replacing stock fans.
Thanks OCUK

Best case I've ever used

Know I've had a few cases in my gaming time, usually one every 6 months or so (my only vice!) I've owned the 600t, the 650d, cosmos, gt level 10 and recently the TT Mozart TX plus a load more, and this little beauty takes the gold, cable management is a pleasure, its quiet, its cool (temps are the lowest I've had from any of the cases above) build quality is above average, only issue I have with this case is the case cables for the on/off HHD LED's ect, they are a bit on the short side, I'm using an MSI M3 power Z77 Board and the cables are tight! gonna get some extensions to eliminate the chances of bending the pins, other than that.... its TIP-TOP!

love this case

this case is awesome. brought this caase because of the direct airflow to all the components, plus all the 140mm fans to make things even quieter, i also have the corsair h110 in the top thats 2x 140mm fans.

its easy to build with, but having to constantly turn it round, being a chunky shape, makes it a bit awkward, but got my new build in it pretty easily.

cable management is so easy as there is hardly any, just power for graphics card, everything else comes from the back so its all hidden. The ssd slot it a bit flimsy on the back but apart from that this case is awesome. :)

Bargain of the century

As the title. Really is a bargain of a case. Builds into very easily. Very well made for the price. People have said the fans are loud. Yes you can hear them, but they aren't loud like a lot of other standard case fans are, plus these fans actually move air around.

The window'd door isn't flexi again like other people have said. It's ver rigid, again more so than some panels that haven't got a full size window in.

Corsair have really raised the bar for mid size cases. The fact it'll house an e-ATX board and you can still fit up to a 50mm 360 rad in the front in such a small case is great. You could fit a 60mm in but I'd recommend fitting the fans outside the case behind the front cover. Which they will fit, but can't run the filter. Though I'm sure some modding of that cover would allow it to fit.
