Fitting woe

Coolermaster Stacker case owners beware. Be prepared for an hour long fiddle with fitting this PSU, as it is so tight a fit, and the fan shroud prevents the screws being fitted. It is only 2mm of misalignment but that is enough to give grief (top or bottom placement). Otherwise a top product.

Nice with Corsair 600T

Brilliant performer. Rock solid stability.
Great presentation and package. Little bag for storing all the unused cables, velvet effect back protecting the PSU.

Flat cables made it a great choice for use with the 600T case as you can feed them through behind the motherboard panel and out through the rubber grommets.

Only negative point has been pointed out. A couple of shorter cables/ones with less connections on would have made this perfect.

Running off this:
CPU - Intel Core i7-2600K @ 4.7Ghz (1.27v)
Motherboard - Asus P8P67 PRO Intel P67 (Socket 1155) DDR3
Cooler - Corsair H50 Hydro and 2 x Akasa Viper fans
GPU - 2 x HD 5850 1GB in CrossfireX
Optical - Sony Optiarc DVD RW AD-5240S
3 HDs -
Crucial RealSSD C300 128GB 2.5" SATA 6Gbs
Seagate Momentus XT 500GB Hybrid SATA-II 2.5" 7200RPM 32MB
Samsung Spinpoint 500GB SATAII
Memory - Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-15000C9 1866MHz Dual Channel Kit

And still voltages are completely stable.

Top quality

I bought this to replace a Tagan BZ800 which had very annoying coil whine since day one and had also started to make other funny noises recently!

The Corsair is completely quiet compared to the Tagan, no coil whine (or other noises).

Pro.
- Reviews say it could easily have been rated as a 900W PSU.
- Top quality build.
- Modular.
- Quiet.
- Long cable lengths.
- 7 year warranty.

Cons (being picky here).
- Don't personally like the flat cables.
- The wires used in the modular cables are not the thickest I've seen.
- For this price, they maybe could have offered different length cables for the Sata and Molex (like Seasonic do).

Early days I suppose. But I would not hesitate to recommend this Power Supply.

Great but No rubber gasket

Very nice PSU, just one thing I found, there isn't a rubber gasket on the rear of the psu. On a PSU costing this much you would expect this.

Very high quality PSU

This is definitely a very high quality PSU and another great product by Corsair. The rated 750W at 90% efficiencies powers just about anything you connect to it. The cleaner voltages provided by this PSU compared to my previous one (HuntKey 550W) were evident as I could overclock my CPU a lot more with a lot less voltage and stability was guaranteed.

The modular nature of it adds to the greatness of this PSU, allowing you to only use the cables you need and no more. Added to it is the flat cable designs, intended to increase air flow within the casing (it really does work well).

A bit pricier than what I've ever spent on a PSU but certainly more than worth the money. The 7-year warranty with Corsair also gives great confidence in the product. Overall, very highly recommended!!

Excellent PSU

Brought for an i7 920 and gtx 260 build. Modular cables are amazing. This psu looks very good and feels very well built. Comes with a very good selection of power cables / screws and is packaged very well indeed. The only down side is the cost which is a little on the high side for a psu...but well worth paying. It is important to go with a reputable brand and Corsair is one. Although only running one graphics card at the moment will be looking to crossfire some 5800s at some point so wanted something with a little future proofing. Very quiet product and even has a rubber like seal on the outside to reduce vibration noise.

Worth it

You might baulk at spending 3 figures on a PSU. Have no fear this is an outstanding product from the packaging to the performance (see jonnyguru review)

Great quality

The build quality is absolutely awesome - comes in a great little box with valvet bag for the PSU and a quality velcro bag for your cables. The cables themselves are ribbon-like and are easy to move around.

It looks great in your case and has an amazing 7 year warranty. Voltages are solid as a rock.
