nice cooler and loads of screws n stuff /)^3^(
when i got my cooler in my mom said it looked like a car part XD it was too bad that i couldent hook the fan control to my Corsair Graphite 600T Midi Tower Case but aww well
also the fans. . . they are soo loud i used to have the old ps3 and that sounded like a hair dryer but these fans are ridiculously loud getting some air penetrators to replace

nice cooler

It does what is says on the tin.

I could not install it as is with the 200 mm Nzxt fan of the Phantom tower case with an asus crosshair V and corsair vengeance.
it is really a matter of millimeters.

I believe that smaller profile fans would work fine.

nice but I changed to Noctua NH-D14-2011 and I think that is a lot better. temperatures are lower. h100 40,38,38,37,41,37.......Noctua NH-D14-2011 - 33,34,28,34,31,30

there is nothing to explain the iglosne fans in h100!!

Lukasz 2012-07-02

100% effective

really well worked cooler,

on my gigabyte ud3 z68x in my nzxt phantom, its got a gtx 460 sli below it, and ive maxed out all my fans on the phantom.

because of the size of my 8gb vengance chips, i cant have the fans pushing on my radiator because i'd have to go ramless.....

really effective cooler with the two 200mm fans above pulling, from above, easy to install, worked out of the box, idles at 30* (give/take 1*) on all cores, and loads at 50* (give/take 3*) on all cores

doesnt block the heat rising from the sli
(cyclone 1gb + directcu 1gb) and with all phantom fans on low, the second you take the cpu off load, temp jumps from 50* to 30 (+/-3*) instantly, 100% effective

really impressed, wont overclock as of yet because i havnt put any fans for the push config.

So Simple!

Installed in a Corsair 550D, cooling a i7 3960X Idle temp (lowest core) 23c MAx temp 50c (highest core). Couldn't be easier to install. Its not that loud either, the fans on my MSI R6970 are louder!

darknite 2012-05-17

Does what it says.

This product does what it says.
I found it to be very quiet on low but a little noisy on hi
setting MEDIUM is ideal for me. Temps were excellent on a 3 hour
stress test, my system sucks through the RAD pushing air out of
the case. My system has 2 HD 6990's in it so air temp is not
ideal but this still does an excellent job with the handicap I
have forced upon it. IMHO this is a very good product but the
fans could be better and the long bolts are too long as they
push into the RAD a little of your not careful.

Rockert_Man 2012-05-02

Ok but noisy

The speed control has three discrete steps and only controls fans attached directly to the unit.

The fans can push a lot of air but they are very loud even at low rpm. I've replaced the 2 fans with a much quieter 4 fan push-pull setup (akasa venom) with the fans connected to the motherboard via a PWM splitter so that I can control exactly how they behave with the bios. (much better than having to open the case...) Do make sure to buy some extra screws to attach the other fans if you want to do this.

I have had to open the case a couple of times early on to give the unit a long tapping session to stop a really annoying rattle. Thankfully it has stopped for now but time will tell.

All in all, because it barely just beats them in performance/noise (when switched to quieter fans and not rattling), I would probably go for one of the better air coolers for 50 quid less.

If you want watercooling spend the extra for a fully custom watercooling loop instead.

Great product, but looking for fan repla

A speedy service from overclockers as per usual. When i first powered it up i thought the pump was gone as it sounded like a hard disk when its internals have exploded. However, after disconnecting it and adding a further 2 fans for pull/push and changing the direction the pipes went from front direction to rear and giving the rad a bit of a shake it seems to be settling down.

First impressions are good, temps are down on my 3.8Ghz overclocked Phenom II 955BE with a Zalman 9900 from 48 idle and 59 load to 32 idle and 44-48 load.

However, on high performance profile its really loud! sounds like an aircraft taking off.

I am using the fans supplied to pull air off the rad and out the top of the case and 2 stock fans from my Coolermaster Cosmos S to push air over the rad from inside the case.

Any suggestions on fans to replace these which will do a similar job cooling but at a lower noise??

I am on a budget of about

Great bit of Kit.

Great cooling solution,couldn't be happier.
Cools my i5 2500k@4.3ghz and doesn't go above 65c in Ibt set to very heavy!

Plus free Haribo's!!!my day is complete :D

Dean 2012-03-29

Previously owned an H70 with terrible temps around 51c idle in a room with temps between 22c and 25c.

700D, i7 950 @4ghz, GTX580

Purchased this H100 elsewhere as it wasn't in stock here & was cheaper.

New temps highest core 42c idle and primed for 20 mins and never went above 68c compared to the H70 I had always touched 90c

Well impressed with this!

Daz 2011-12-16

Impressive for price

Used this as my introduction to water cooling.
Using Corsair 650D case
i5 2500k @ standard 3.3ghz

Full load during Prime95 with 22oC room
Fans all on lowest settings

Idle (no load)
Fans on low 22C Room tempreture

I'll overclock later now i have a lot of headroom.
The fans are noisey on full speed (similar to my 580GTX Good Edition by Gainward with a load on it)

Can't comment on the fitting as OcUK built my system

Tam 2011-10-08

I'll just let the numbers speak for themselves... i7-2600k @ 4.5GHz, runs at 24 degrees idle and never more than 50 degrees full load.

Easy to install and as always with Corsair products you can feel the build quality when you touch it.

The Corsair stock fans are pretty loud, I'd recommend swapping them out for something quieter!

Tom Hooper 2011-10-08

Great cooler

This is a great cooler for the price. Had a Corsair Hydro H50 before this and it certainly cut it, temps were getting over 65'C and that was just on a mildly overclocked Sandy Bridge at 4Ghz. Now on this Corsair H100 at 4 Ghz I get 45'C temps and when overclocked til 4.8 Ghz temps never go over 60'C and that's in a hot room. So all in all not too bad a cooler

Paul 2011-08-25

very nice

this cooler says what it does on the box very light and the most easy to install and the main thing it keeps your cpu very cool. The fans you get with it are a little noisy well worth the money id recomend this to all who needs expensive water cooling when you have got this
