Hydro Series H110i GTX High Performance 280mm Liquid CPU Cooler (CW-9060020-WW)

Hydro Series H110i GTX is an all-in-one liquid CPU cooler with a 280mmradiator and dual SP140L PWM fans for cooling that’s far superior to stock CPU air coolers. Liquid cooling works better than air cooling, and the self-contained design of the H110i GTX gets you up and running quickly so you can spend more time enjoying the performance of your overclocked processor and less time assembling, filling, and maintaining your cooling system.

The H110i GTX has Corsair Link software control built in. Just attach the included cable to a USB header on your
motherboard and download the software from, then customize and monitor your temps, fan and pump speeds, and even the RGB LED logo on the coldplate.

- 280mm dual-fan radiator for outstanding cooling performance

First time user of an AIO cooler.

I bought parts to build a new PC (mostly from here) for myself and No. 1 son (Birthday pressie) and got the H115i Extreme for me and the H110i GTX for him.

Building two machines at near enough the same time, I got them mixed up and son got the H115i Extreme...ho hum.

However, I am very pleased with this cooler, it looks great on my Gigabyte-Z170X-Gaming G1 with the Intel i7-6700K etc.
It also means that the view through the windowed case look much neater without a large air cooler mounted.

It is easy enough to fit, even for a noob like me, and the pre-applied thermal paste works just fine, so no more difficult than mounting an air cooler. In fact, from some air coolers I have seen/used, it is a lot easier.

On daily use it keeps the cpu around 28C, and when playing games it goes up to about 30-35C depending on what fan speed I have the Link software set to.

I have the rad plus the two fans in the top of my Phanteks Primo case mounted under the rad in a 'push' configuration, i,e, blowing air through the rad out of the top of the case, which works for me.

Overall, I am very happy with the cooler, and with the excellent service by Overclockers.

Great cooler very quite and very configurable.

I have been using the H100I for 2 years now my one is a V1 model and has given me no hassle at all the only thing I would recommend is that you measure your case carefully as the radiator is very big and I had to modify my case even though the manufacturer suggested that it would fit. that aside this cooler is extremely good it has tamed my FX 8350 with a 5GH overclock even when heavy gaming my temps do not exceed 60 degrees C and it remains quiet for the most part. the corsair link software is great it lets you monitor the temps and set fan profiles in a simple interface I would recommend this to anyone with a large case.

to hard to assess

it DOES come with dedicated drivers i don't think you plugged something in correctly or something.sorry.the little mini usb cable hole is hard to see as its underneath the cpu block. nevermind

1st class

i had 2 Raijntek was very poor build quality and OC replaced it.i was using it to cool a i7 4790k devils canyon on a Asus hero 7.lets just say i sold it and bought this product.i can run prime 95 on stress test all night [the hot one] and it never get above 70 c..when folding for days on end it never gets passed 56c.i am folding at the moment in a central;y heated room its in balanced mode and just been gaming before coming on here and cupid HW package says my temp is 52c,not bad as im folding flat out with a OC on all cores of x45 memeory 1902mhz aqnd a 6 pack gtx for sound you have 3 settings quiet ,balanced and performance.the sodtware will however respond if you start to get hot.iv hafd it a while now and my mate bought a preditor and i kicked his ass so unless onluuy the unlucky people write about this product i give a big ol 10.oh build quality and looks.its a corsaire and the bit ovver the cpu can go to any color you like the pipes look like something out of alien yea im happy.

I cant give a perfect 5, but everything

A perfect 5 would require (near) perfection. Unfortunately the written instructions differ slightly from the product supplied

The product I received is obviously a later model which takes its power from a SATA power connection (Which is better of course), the instructions do not however recognise this referring only to the earlier 3 pin MB fan connector. I am sorry but this is sloppy and thus loses a point!

Other than that the product has a nice sold feel to it and I had no problems installing it in my Cm Storm Trooper, The corsair link software loaded without issues and although I have not started to play with it it seems to be doing everything that it says it should on the tin.

My 9590 now stays at 40 even running Prime and no longer seems to crash. (I used to have random freezes, and not necessarily when I was doing anything hard either. I was previously using a very noisy air cooling solution and although the temps seemed to be OK according to core temp, they were somewhat higher and I guess they might have been spiking occasionally)

I only installed this today and will provide an update in due course. I can only imagine that the first reviewer was unlucky and actually has a faulty unit. (In which case I am sure that OCUK will sort it) I am running win 8.1 on a Asrock Fatal1ty pro and everything works fine right from power up (IE before any drivers/software/whatever are likely to be an issue), I hope he gets it sorted.

Oh and it is a lot quieter! :)

Though the downside is I am now going to have to improve the cooling on my chipset/VRM's, these now run somewhat hotter because of losing the airflow from the CPU fan. Ho-Humm, it never ends! :)

Hard to Assess the Cooling Ability When

Note: This is not a review of OC service.

I am on win 8.1 pro and was using a Dark Rock Pro 3. I bought this so that I could overclock my 4790k DC chip.

Instead I am left with a PC perilously close to dangerous temperatures because out of the box, while easy to install, it fails to function. I have contacted Corsair who suggested I use a two year old regedit hack, that wasn't even tested on this model (or the one before it...)

The device has no dedicated drivers, so isn't picked up and simply sits as a non-functioning peripheral. There is power (the LED is on and the fans spin), but the pump wont run and therefore doesn't cool anything. I've tried virtually every solution for any other Corsair cooler that's been posted on the internet, but no improvement.

It's possible I simply received a bad cooler, but that in itself would be pretty poor as it shows no sign of damage so would have been the result of bad build quality. I'm awaiting further information from Corsair, but I suggest that anyone who is considering purchasing this cooler does not do so unless they have a back-up cooling solution. As when it doesn't work, if your chip runs at all hot then it's impossible to do anything with your pc. This includes any important work tasks you might have pending.

The fact Corsair support initally suggested that ridiculous regedit hack as their primary solution was very, very poor.
